Agreed lilmike, my issue was with your original quote of ...." there are plenty of teaching pro's who actually may be better than some people on tour" .... there are no doubt a few club, teaching or " PGA" professionals that could or did play a tour.... I guess I disagree with the " plenty" part of the statement?
Also, if you " don't care " what someone says than don't reply to their post, with that being said I am sure you are a good kid, just know that the % of people that make it on tour is very small... make sure you hava a back up plan!!

its ok, i just found out he qualified for a web.com tour event. He's going to monday qualify again, and he was one shot off qualifying fora pga tour event. Borrowed the money from somebody. Point proven
Unless he starts making cuts and qualifying for more then one event it doesnt prove your point at all actually. Actually if anything it proves peters point of if your pro could play on tour he would. Dont say its a money thing because thats part of the game you got to make enough money at the low levels to keep moving up, thats how it works.

What about those tour pros that have one good week and lock down a tour card for three years ?
William McGirt come to my club about once or twice a year. And he has yet to beat our teaching pro. Who doesnt have the money to be on tour. But definitely has the talent.
You're teaching pro knows every square inch of the course. Not a level playing field. Give McGirt two weeks to practice on your course, and he'll likely win.
