Good lie fairway bunker. Do you try to take a divot in front of the ball?

Take an army swing, and yes take some sand in front of the ball.  Club up 2 clubs also.

Get your weight on your left side and hit it thin.

Had an almost identical situation today...

I picked it clean and aimed for the center of the green- no need to get greedy firing at the pin

Depends on the type of sand in the bunker. Usually go for ball-first contact and a light cut of sand afterward. Often ends up with a mid/low shot with a ton of spin on it.

i try to stay tall. I do this by looking down at the ball and not digging into the sand too much with my feet. also i choke down on my club to make sure that i don't catch it fat.

Take an extra club, swing easy and pick it.

Taking the divot before the ball will not work.

Dig feet in.  Choke down. Concentrate on measure to the ball at address and the same at impact. That last part I do on every shot.
