Thanks 72 today on a great course with 5 birdies, a double and a triple... typical.  Anser 14.5 with Fujikura Motore Speeder VC 7.2 Tour Spec is in my near future.

Here's a question for you, Dizz... how is the i20 head in terms of forgiveness and spin? I'm looking at an i20 17* head to pair with a heavy graphite shaft to play sort of like a 2-iron in terms of trajectory, but with more forgiveness. I really like my 19* A12, but want to lower the flight more. I'm thinking of either a 17* i20 or A12, and playing it at 39.5" - 40".

Very low spin for a hybrid... Steel heavy?  It's plenty forgiving, not Adams Pro Black demanding and still very low spin.

100 gram heavy, not 130. I have a spare Thump and Fubuki AX and I'd like to use one of them. I like the way you put it - funny you brought up the Pro Black because using an 18 deg Pro Black did cross my mind, but then I remembered why I'm pulling the Thump out of my 9031SF, haha. The 9031s are more forgiving than an iron for sure, but I'd prefer even more mass behind the ball like the i20, especially for a lower lofted hybrid.

You seem pretty intent on putting PXi in your next iron set... are they that good? Considering doing the same thing for my next set. I usually play the regular Project X in my irons so the weight isn't too much of an issue for me... quite the difference from DGTI though.

Differences in those steel are negligible.  I like them.

Nice bag! How did you get that G20 to that length and SW? Special order or does putting a heavier shaft in it do the trick? I have speeder 7.2 vc that i want to put in a G20, but have heard the swing weights change a lot without the stock counterbalanced shaft.

Incident happened with the 3 wood.  My driver is a G20 with Fujikura Motore Speeder VC 7.2X that I got in March.  Hybrid I just got, is a i20 20 bent to 19 with a UST VTS Black 85HX.

No surprise with the change to the ansers. Those heads are damn good. Not switching the hybrid? I thought if nothing else the feel was much better compared to the i20.

They're both low launch/low spin shafts... I think people think there are magic shafts, especially on WRX.  All of those low/low are designed to and do the same thing to the ball.  They feel totally different though, 'ahina is smooth compared to Tour Spec.  I hit 'ahina 70 in the driver and really liked it actually.

How are you liking the Anser so far? I looked at one at an Edwin Watts the other day and I didn't get to hit it, but I think I like the way my i20 sets up better.. I am finally learning how to get comfortable with a certain club and something new comes along asking to be hit LOL

To be honest, my Anser driver is en route... should be here Friday.  I really like my G20 though so we'll see, I've become pretty comfortable with it.  The Anser 3 wood is in the bag though, I'm not just saying it because I just got it but its the best 3 wood I've ever owned.  Looks dead perfect from the top, sounds great, feels great, gives me a better flight than both my i20 and G20 and its crazy forgiving which surprised me a little bit.
