Probably just stick with the S400's... I have a 913Fd coming and actually my numbers with the i20 hybrid are perfect.  Its also a club I'm very comfortable with on course so it would be pretty dumb to pull it out of the bag to get away from 2 wood headcover phobia...lol.

How heavy is "extra heavy?'

Standard is 34 with 15g weights and 35 with 10g weights.  These are 320g raw heads so that gives you 350g and 340g headweights.  So heavy is always one step up 34-20 and 35-15.

Well I ordered it 34.5" and "Heavy", it came 34.5" with 20g or 360g head.  Swingweight is E8+ which is really heavy, to me anyway.

Anser is more forgiving, definitely closer to the G20 I was using before.  I like them both... I will mess around more when my 3 wood gets here.  It should be here this week.

I don't have any comparison shots because it was cold and I haven't really hit a ball in 2 weeks.  Here is my first swing ever with the Anser.  Not too bad for 35 degrees, 10 mph tail wind.  My rep is pretty cool and this is the second Anser I've had.  I had 8.5 digital to 9.5 with TS 7.2 that I couldn't keep in the air.  This one is 10.25 degrees with BB-7X.

I'm gonna do some testing with that and my 913Fd 3 wood this weekend against my Anser 3 wood.

I don't think my stuff goes in like others stuff... not totally sure though.  The loft was circled, its a 9.5 head.

That's a pretty healthy whack! I'll definitely be curious to see the 3 wood numbers, did you go with the 13.5*?

Yes I did, just got my 913F-d 13.5 with DI8

I haven't played golf in a month but I'm looking at both of them pretty well and invisioning all the great shots I am hitting.  I just hit the 3 wood about 280.... nice little cut.

Sure...  I hit a few balls on TrackMan today.  Hit it off a mat in snowy Ohio with Pro V1/V1x.  Good rusty swings were 153-158 ball speed and about 8-10 launch with 2900-3700 spin.  I hit one that was 157 ball speed, 10.2 launch and 2990 spin.  Normalized that's 260 or so carry.  I meant this to be more of a tee ball 3 wood so it should be good.  It does sound totally different than 910... very muted and I think feels very good.  Almost like a more metallic Titleist PT feel... I liked it.  Seems to be the other direction than the driver.

This is so true. Between Ping and Titleist it's a complete toss up. Everything they make is quality and their clubs are very similar in performance. I would be happy playing either, and well....I am! Picked up another Anser driver (9.5), a 913 D3, and an Anser 3 wood this weekend. Gonna fool with these over the winter, but come spring they'll all be getting a lot of use. BTW that FD has me droolin'!
