I heard Ping went back to the retractable strap for the 2013 Hoofer bag. Also, the other strap can be removed to be a single strap bag as well. The top of the opening is larger too, but the bottom diameter is the same. It still only has 2 dividers though. Anyway have any more info or pics on this?

They just released a new bag this year. They have a 2 year cycle, so we won't see this bag until August next year, a full year away. Can't see how they could possibly have finalized design by now.

Btw. I do miss the retractable strap.

I love the retractable strap. I have two ping bags and both have it.

A guy in a group I play with has a newer hoofer and it's nice. I just don't remember if it has the strap or not.

I know this adds nothing to the thread, but thought I would share.

This years Hoofer does not have the retractable strap. I don't like it nearly as well as the C-1 Hoofer. I really liked the bag until the dividers tore then the clubs started to tangle. I hope its not a 2 year cycle; the manager of the local pro shop said there would be a new one. He had actually seen the new model.

They need to come out with a new Hoofer soon. Their latest Hoofers don't look at all IMO. I would love a classic Hoofer 2 or Hoofer 3 look with the newer lighter material they use now, and a retractable strap.

Yeah looks legit to me, I rang up and asked a few questions and spoke to a guy called Lee whose profile is actually on there in a section they call "meet the pros" knew his stuff so once ive got the funds i reckon im gonna get this bag
