golf guru not working

I have the g4 model, but when I press the golf button, it says "not find software." I tried calling and emailing Golf Guru, but haven't rec'd a response(the phone immediately goes to a busy signal-did they finally go out of business?) I tried updating the utility, but the g4 golf program still won't respond or sync. Anyone have any thoughts on how to fix the unit?

I think TGW sells them. Give them a call and tell them your situation, maybe they have a contact their.

I have both an 002 and 004.  The battery on the 002 recently went bad, and I tried to contact them to see if it was user replaceable.  Like you, I got a busy signal when calling, and no response to either a direct email, or an email contact through their website.  Unfortunately, I think they are out of business, at least as far as our products go.  Hopefully, they will keep the website up so that I can continue to download courses.

As a side note, I bought a Garmin G5 to replace the 002, and am very satisfied.

My programming issues were solved thru an update found on the website. I never did hear back from anyone associated with the company; as others have posited, they seem to be out of business.

I have the G4 also.  I haven't talked to them in quite a bit but it seems like I had the best luck calling them right at opening time in the morning.

The phone number just goes to busy signal all the time, like it is disconnected.

"not find software". That should be your first clue as to the status of their skills in English :)
