Hi everyone.  In your opinions what are the best super game improvement iron sets.  I'm looking at the Adams tech v3 and the cobra s3.  I hit my hybrids really well and want more forgiveness than what I am playing now (r11's).  I def need a mixed set.  I currently am playing taylormade 11 rescues in 2 3 and 4.  I don't carry a 3 wood.   I'm a semi decent player 5 handicap but cannot hit long irons for the life of me.  Please help

Are their hybrids draw biased.  How is the set make up?

3-6 are hybrid the rest iron, though you can get 5 and 6 irons if you want. If  you cant hit this set of irons, you cant hit any set.

I'd go with G20's, a smig smaller than the K's.  Awesome clubs.  Ping sells hybrids so pick and choose what you want.

TEE XCG7 Beta 3 & 5-woods
TEE XCG7 22* hybrid
Ping G30 irons w/Recoil 110's

Agree!

I had G10, then 20's, and the most significant difference is the loft numbers.

If you want SGI, then K15 is ping's offering.  If you want GI, then G15 or G20.

Just what I was going to say. A few tour players played the G15s including K.J. Choi when they came out and I'm sure there are 1 or 2 gaming the G20s.

I have gamed all these this season:
Taylormade Burner Plus, then went to Wilson Di11's, and now playing Mizuno JPX800HD's.

Also during my last search I demo'd the Adams Redline's and A12OS's.  Both seemed solid.

For the money you can't beat the Redline's and the Di11's.  The only reason I got rid of the Di11's were their gapping between the 9i and GW.  They have tight lofts which for me required an additional wedge which I didn't have room for in the bag, other than that they were really forgiving sticks.  Very underrated.  They have pretty thin top line for an SGI iron so they should appeal to those who don't like the looks of big shovels.

The JPX800HD's are pretty new to me but working out very well so far.  I like that their 4 and 5 hybrid are a direct iron replacement so their lengths are the same length as a 4 and 5i and not a standard hybrid length which is much longer than its iron replacement length.

Everybody loves Ping's and honestly I wanted G15's in the worst way so after a store fitting they put me in a yellow dot so before I bought I purchased the whole set I bought a 7i demo club off of ebay in my fitting specs.  I always hit my 7i 145 yds (in all 3 iron sets I played this year).  The Ping were a full club shorter.  Maybe it was shaft (I did hit it super high) but being that I am a short knocker anyway I couldn't lose distance by going to the Pings.
Other than that though they did feel pretty forgiving.

If you want the most forgiving iron ever made, that also has low offset and amazing ball speeds, that'd be the Wishon 870Ti irons. As a seasoned club ho, I've tried just about everything out there. You can only get them through a clubfitter.

I went with G20s. Super forgiving and decent feel, very consistent. I have also hit the k15s though and you could hit those with your eyes closed. As has been said, if you cant kit k15s you cant hit any

Mizuno JPX-800 HD.  Theyre super easy to hit but still have a fairly soft feel.
