My DSG has the 6 ball packs for $9.99. The dozen boxes are still $34.99
Makes no sense.

Yep.  Earlier in the summer the 6 packs were 14.99, the dozens were 34.99.  Doesn't make much sense to me either.  I bought 5 dozen (10 6 packs) online and got em for $100.  At $20/dozen that's insane.

Wow those are great deals!  I play the u/4 and LOVE the spin I get around the greens.  I want a little more distance off the tee so I went to GG in Vegas to buy a 12 pack of u/4x's and they were 34.99, but I actually really like these balls and think they are worth every penny-and they last me a lot longer than when I play pro v1's so I am sold.  Am going to play tomorrow and will see if I like the u/4x's.

Do not know if anyone cares but I know that Scott Gutchewski of the web.com tour uses the U4x. Also has Maxfli bag so likely sponsored by them.

Just got back from playing a round with the u/4x, and I have to say I like it better than the u/4.  I got about 5 yds further (maybe a little more) on each drive and I didn't notice a huge drop off from the spin of the u/4.  I will play the rest of my u/4's and then make the switch....best ball deal out there for the quality.

I went into Dick's today looking to buy my favorite Tour B330 but they were out of them(or never had them to begin with). Needless to say I was in need of golf balls and had to purchase something. As I scanned the rack I noticed these Maxflis and saw the six-packs too. Unfortunately the six-packs were the softer U4 model only. So on a whim I paid 35.00 for a dozen U/4x and headed to the course. I was pleasantly surprised by the feel and distance of this ball. Very comparable to the B'stone that I normally play, maybe a touch more firm. It was not windy today which is very rare in Florida, so I will have to update this post after my next round. Feel off the driver was superb, and irons and wedges had the perfect amount of spin for me(zero to one foot of backspin is my preferred amount) Putter was very nice as well. If this ball were around 25.00 a dozen I would purchase all that I could find. IMO its a very good ball.
