Getting to you because you won't ever have that chance? And, he never claimed victory, he said his new goal was to win. he was in the top 10 when asked the question, should he have said he expects to choke under the pressure and hopes to just finish the round?

You're not alone. I heard this same thing echoed from a few people I spoke with. Never should have changed his "goals" seems like the moment or the situation got the best of him. Still a great finish for a 17 year old kid.

That's pretty sweet! And those woods definitely look older than just the tour van at the Open. Little jealous of the AX 500h in the hybrid!

I don't understand how people who've never even met this kid can say they don't like him or root for him because he was a few shots off the lead in a us open and said he felt he could win.  Just boggles my mind how people make conclusions of a person on so little. Such is the human way I guess!
