I use Ping woods and have found that the TFC shafts are great for me.  I have heard many people talk about the different options they tried in the I20 and they ended up with the TFC.  Just wondering if these were done by Ping or if someone made them for the company?

I thought UST produces shafts for ping.  But I could be wrong.  Either way the stock ping shafts are extraordinary for a stock shaft.

The TFC works great for me too and I think I'll snag a few FW/ Driver shaft pulls before they dry up. I'm sure the next Ping drivers will have great stock shafts as well.

I want to know if ping would put a TFC707 in a G20.  Now that would be sweet.  I loved that shaft when I tried it, but I like the G20 head better than the I20.

Yes, If you order a G20 the charge is $30 - $40 for the TFC-707, but if you already have the club then the charge is about $70. I know, I've went through all this not long ago.

I was told the 169 Tour Stiff plays similar to the TFC707.

I was told by one of the top club guys in Atlanta (and NOT a Ping guy) that the TFC's are as good a fairway shaft as there is.

I have this setup and have it at 44.75 and am thrilled with it! The 707D is def made by UST but I couldn't tell you about the rest.

What loft do do have?  I want digitally lofted 11* with the 707 ball flight, should be dead on fairway finder.

I'm hitting a 10.5 head so the loft might be close to that 11* # but who knows.

Which UST iron shaft is comparable to the TFC800 Ping iron shaft? I want to get some AP1's and I want to put a UST shaft in them that is as close to the TFC shaft as possible. Ping OEM graphite shafts are incredible.

I saw an aldila sticker on the last G series driver that I changed the grip on. I can't remember if it was a TFC169 or 189 though. I hear TFC707 is like a UST Proforce V2... fwiw

I am a huge fan of the 169f tour shaft and was searching for a similar aftermarket to play around with weights and flex. The consensus seems to be that UST make them and I have been told that VTS line is most similar but when I emailed them they didn't confirm this. I also emailed PING but got no info out of them either.
I don't have access to shafts to try where I live and I am abit apprehensive about buying blind at the moment. If anyone has enough experience with shafts to offer up some comparisons that would be great!

UST makes Pings shafts indeed.  I love the 169F Tour X-flex in my G20, nice and stout with almost perfect spin matched with that head.
