I wear a 12 in nike free running shoes and I got a 12 in the TW free.  They are snug, but not too snug.  I think another .5 size might make them feel to big for me.

I picked up a pair of these, and just finished walking very hilly 18 holes.....I'm still not a fan of the Looks, but they killed it in the comfort and stability, first time in a very long time my feet weren't aching during or after the round (yes I have caveman feet!).....BTW- I fit size 11.5 in Frees, but ended up getting size 12 in these which are just about perfect....I would like a tweet or letter from Tiger for contributing to his salary by buying these;)

I'll look forward to seeing the non-TW Frees in the future too, my only request would to make a more Breathable version..

That sounds about right. $220 msrp and $180 map would give you approximately 40 points and 30 points. I'm sure the high volume retailers pay a little less but then again these are a limited release.

I bought the white pair for my local Golf Town store in Canada. Played 18 with them today. Most comfortable shoes I have ever worn. I really want to buy a pair of black ones but my Golf Town isn't receiving any. What is the cheapest anyone has bought them for online and from where? My in laws are coming up from the states in 3 weeks....haha

179.99 is the price that i have seen at 2 of the courses this week. i would imagine they could be had cheaper online. I will reserve my judgement until I see them on my feet, but I may not be that motivated.

went to GG today and tried them on.. (white Colorway).  I normally wear an 11.5 and they were out of 12's only had 11s so I tried them on.. Very uncomfortable. I was disappointed.  But I will reserve my final judgement until I try on a 12 just to see if that makes a different.  They felt too tight, but didnt feel to "big" if that makes sense.. and I dont have a wide food either.  oh well. I wanted a pair but that will save me $150ish.

This morning, I decided to take a chance and called golfsmith around 830am and surprisingly a girl answered.  Asked her if she had some TW free's in a size 10 and they did in black.  Asked her to hold it for me, got there at 9am when doors opened.  Tried on both the 10 and 10.5(I fit the running Free's in size 10)  The 10.5 had a little more room but even tied real tight, I still felt some movement as I walked.  The 10's were snug and felt good, no movement.  Got the 10's.  Played 18, but rode a cart.  Felt good, real comfortable when walking.  If I get a chance this sunday, i'm going to walk 18 and see how they feel.  I pre ordered from my country club but I just couldn't wait(for some reason, they aren't getting theirs for another week or so).  I have a white pair on order from them.   Sorry for the long post.

How much from the golfsmith?

I really want these shoes but I am also preparing to spend around $500 for new clubs in the next few weeks and these shoes are a little pricey. Do you think the "superiority" and quality of the shoes is worth the money? Tell us more if you do in fact walk 18.

They do look awesome. I don't understand why so many people complain about them being ugly. Tiger Woods has worn white golf shoes for a while, they were just more traditional golf shoes. These are more athletic, but the look really isn't that different. Not sure if people think the color or the design is the ugly part, but I like these shoes a lot. Want a pair really bad.

They were $180+ tax.   They look great. The material is a rubbery  material that is real thin that should repel water.  The tong is a little high and did go above my sock line but it didn't bother me. I guess to some people they would look cheap but to me they look and feel like the running shoes.  I did see the white ones in person and they were real nice.  I kind of liked the look of the white ones more.  

The guys I played with liked the shoes.  Too bad I was pulling all my shots that day. Shot 90. Haha

Anyone who has played Ecco Street Premiere and can compare? For walking a course I have not found a shoe that can best the Ecco's when it comes to comfort and durability.

I tried discount dan's yesterday morning and they were sold out until "mid summer." I am a massive fan of nike free's and would like to get a pair in about a week or so since I'll be walking a 36 hole tournament. Would it even be possible to get them for less than $180 any where?

I tried them on at golf galaxy today and they seemed really comfy but I don't like the tongue because it comes up so high. I'll have to see what V 2.0 is.

I was able to get my hands on a black pair (after looking around a lot because the GG by me was sold out). These things are massively comfortable. I will never wear a "traditional" Foot Joy type of shoe again. They are definitely kind of snug like others have mentioned, but in a good way. It's like your foot is cradled during the entire shot. Another thing...they are so much more stable on grass than any golf shoe I've ever owned.

I also think someone was asking about comparing them to Ecco Streets. These blow them away...Ecco's are comfortable compared to a FJ, but these TW's are just on a level all their own. I would highly suggest at least trying them on.

I think the same about the tongue, so I cut just under the TW and rounded off the top and they are now perfect. Can't even tell

Saw these at GS yesterday and decided to try them on. I'm a huge fan of Free's I but did not like these at all.  I understand that being waterproof is important, but IMO the material Nike used makes these look horrible...almost like they're knockoffs. Also, I totally agree with the tongue coming up too high. Reminded me of these...

I do like the the tongue on them, but not the bumper though.
