Of course - but that's what WE short people HAVE TO SAY. We don't have a choice. But the rest of the world doesn't have to think that way. It's up to US to prove it to them. For we short guys (and when you get old you might get fat too) - it's definitely a "respect is earned, not given" type of experience.
If you're 5'5" and in high school - there's a super chance that you'll grow up to and through college. Of course if you're already as tall or taller than your parents - you have no chance. Just kidding.
Take it from several short adults on this list - we've been you, and we are still you. Your current trend will simply get you dismissed in the real world...nobody wants to be around a hothead or a "Louie DePalma" (a character played by Danny Devito in the old days). And there will be MORE times than not, that a bad temper will get you excluded, rather than included.
I firmly believe that the guy at the range meant no disrespect to your Dad - so try not to get all bunged up about it.
Hang in there Zim.

Maybe you should read the post he added half way through the thread so you would realize that his dad never asked to hit the club but was just looking for some feedback????
Maybe he should not say things in the orig. post if they are not true. I see it all the time. people say things and then when they are called on it, they change their story. Not that hard to get it right the first time.
