Hello all

I'm looking at getting a new stand bag for carry and have pretty much settled on the Sun Moutain four 5.  I'm leaning towards the 2011 version since I like the water bottle pocket location better.  Anyone with a 2012 have any thoughts on how much of a pain the new location behind the ball pocket is?

Also my biggest concern with either year is the white top (14 way dividers), do these get dirty?  Did you put Scotchgard or something else on it to protect it?

I have used mine a ton and it still looks very white. It is hard to get the top of the bag dirty.

I have used mine for a yr. The white still looks brand new. I don't think I would worry about that.
Now for your other issue. I think the messed up the new version by changing the location of the water bottle pocket. IMO the 2011 version is much better. With either version I think it would have been nice to have an insulated pocket. I know they are trying to keep it lite but how  much would a insulated pocket weigh?

Well, the "insulated" pocket on the C130 is completely useless, so I'm glad they didn't include one on the Four 5.

I have the 2011 and love it more than I would have loved the 2012.

Even the insulated pocket in my bag doesn't really keep it cold.
