Ha ha, that doesn't mean that's the only thing it does.  I drive it to work daily and carpool with 2 other people.  It also brings home mulch and stuff from Lowes.

Seems like an awfully small turbo for 500hp.

I have an 03 Cobra making 470rwhp. Not my DD though.

Ding ding ding!  Winner.

Earlier comment on the turbo.....it's a billet 62mm Precision turbo.  Fully built motor, rods, pistons, rare big port cylinder head with goodies, built transmission.  It might not look that big, but 25psi hits at about 5300 RPM.
Some 2.0L Mitsu Evos are making 800awhp on that turbo.  I never will make anything close to that, only 1.8L and 8000RPM instead of 2.2L and 10500RPM.

It's this turbo, not my car, but here's a dyno video of this turbo on an Evo:

My 6262:  Compressor inducer:  62mm exducer:  82mm Turbine inducer: 72mm exducer:  62mm
Posted Image

Old GT3076 that made 393whp on 22psi and 93 octane:  to me, even this one looks big on a motor..........but sizes are small next to a 6262......Compressor inducer:  57mm exducer:  76mm  Turbine inducer:  60mm

Oh, I know about Subaru's and lots of boost. My brother had a Cosworth block and a GT35R. A really expensive dog box. Methanol injection. Made 562 AWHP. He turned the car into some abomination. Totally stripped, high steering ratio, relocated everything. The car ended up in so many peices, it had to be parted out.

Now that I am looking on my actual computer monitor, the turbo looks about right size (cool)

My Cobra is pretty stock except my supercharger pully. Putting out a solid 16lbs of boost. Pretty much at the end of the efficiency range of the supercharger.

2005 Subaru Legacy GT with 5-speed.  Just got the front rotors upgraded to 12.5" from the stock 11.5."  I plan on doing a turbo back exhaust and an intake at some point to really liven it up.

2007 Jeep JK 6 speed......  well actually no doors as much as possible.  Upgraded to Wrangler Duratecs, blacked out stock sahara rims, MBRP light bar with some Hellas, chopped front bumper.  Got a small lift in the garage that I've been neglecting.

It's like driving a brick into the wind...... 0-60 in about a minute, stiff, bouncy ride (especially on those E tires)..... The clubs aren't what you would call secure in the back as I havent had the back windows on in a few years.  They're more safe in that Mississippi "owner must have a gun or be watching to leave these out in the open so I better leave it alone" sense.  I wouldn't trade it for anything except a more modded jeep or a defender 90.

My son loves it too.....  Tonight he threw such a fit because he couldn't sit in the jeep that he had to lie down for about 20 minutes to calm down.  Terrible 2s are starting a little early

Since there seems to be some love for sleeper wagons, my last grocery getter. Moved on recently to a Diesel X5 under the "suggestion" of my wife.

That must have been one baaaaddd Subaru.  But honestly, I'd take the Cobra any day.  500hp and fwd is nowhere near as usable as a supercharged Cobra.  That body/year range is by far my favorite.  Sinister look to them from the factory.

My wife doesn't understand my desire to own a S4 wagon... oh well..

I rock a 2004 Passat. I have done nothing to it. I will drive it until it dies.... the I will get another VW family car... but only because my wife's uncle works for them.

She makes over 35lbs of boost (sorry little vw turbos). Last Dyno run was 430hp, 700+ft/lb torque. Love my cummins. Yes, I'm a redneck who happens to play a little white ball.

I'm in the 8 cars in the past 8 years category too but my most recent were

94 Trans Am LT 1: green. Loud and fast. Good times :)
Mini cooper s: red with white stripes. Fun fun car I miss it
BMW z4 3.0: gunmetal grey. Also very fun but too small for a dog and girlfriend :)
Nissan murano: gunmetal grey. Loved this suv but that cvt tranny sucks if u try to haul toys like my boat and quads
My bikes: 2006 yamaha R6 blue and 2008 Yamaha R6 black
Currently I'm driving a Lexus GS 300
Phone won't let me import pics but I will try when I get home to my computer

I posted my truck.....but I can talk the turbo numbers. If that f350 runs on diesel instead of gas, you can too. Figure I can haul all the golf bags, all the maintenance equipment, a 15000 lb trailer or a tour trailer to the course..

Nope, gas. Gotta love the 8-10 mpg.
