is it just me or does anyone else find that the newer golf shoes are very low cut? I have tried the tour 360 4.0, ATV's, lunar controls, and they all seem to be low cut and this causes my heel to slip up in the back even when there is not so much room in the toe box. Does anyone else have this problem or is my foot just messed up?

Can anyone suggest a shoe that might not be as low cut and actual comes up a little higher?(not high tops like the Bandons). Thanks.

Try Eccos. Maybe the Bioms Hydromax. Overall I feel Ecco have the best fit.

I used to wear Nike golf shoes, but got really tired of how tight/narrow the toe box is in all of their shoes.  So I tried some FootJoys.  Some were better, some were about the same.  On a whim I tried some Oakley Superdrives.  First things that I noticed were plenty of room in the toe box and that the heal is a touch higher than all the other golf shoes that I have owned.  Now I will only buy Oakley golf shoes, just ordered another pair from oakleyvault because they are having a big sale now.

I recently won a pair of ATV's in a tourney but I can't wear them because of the heel slippage issue. It was my assumption that the heel box (?) is too wide for my foot. I've had countless pairs of Puma's in the past, which are also low cut, and have never had the same problem.
