I hope he is.

I tell my wife I shot 82. She says, "and you PRACTICE?"

OP, re: the 75 balls comment-no disrespect intended (well maybe just a little). Put in the context of "working" for a paycheck, I see your point. Good luck out there.

No worries at all. :)

I had a chance to see Jack play when I was a kid. It took him longer than that to hit balls on the range. He claims he has never hit a single ball without full commitment and full routine. They timed him once on the course and over 4 days , something like 275 swings , his routine varied by somethkng like less than 1 second.

I guess that just stuck and its how I take the range to the course. It seemed to work pretty well for Jack.  :)

I know a lot of straight commission sales guys who don't eat if they don't sell-similar deal to yours except they sell overpriced stuff to the general public and we all know how much fun that is.

I always told my wife that I would be fine with her being the bread winner.   I'd be happy to stay home and take care of the house....and continue my pursuit of golf excellence (golf game hasn't exactly been excellent this year).

Find me the hottest woman and the world and chances are she has a BF or husband that is sick and tired of her.

I woke up at 4:30 for the gym , wife rolled over gave me a dirty look, and i told my wife i don't care if you're a light sleeper i got to do what's good for me, plus you kicked me all night, this is a little pay back.

Came home from gym, made myself a nice breakfast, but just poured my wife a bowl of that crap she eats.

Off to work 7:30-5:30, lunch hour on the putting green

Home , quick dinner with the wife of course i had to make damn dinner, then right out the door to try out 4 or 5 drivers at the range and settle on a gamer.

At the range until dark, turn my phone off, because i can't understand my wife half the time when she talks on the phone.

Back home, quick walk with the wife, then relax a few hours and off to bed alone, she will come up when eve she feels like it.

I like golf but no way I'm doing for a living.

Here's my day:  get up , oh, about 7:45, check emails in the Inn office downstairs, walk next door to say HI to the staff as they are serving breakfast to the guests at the Inn, walk back to my house, put my cat back in the house after her daily 10 minute jaunt outside, eat breakfast with my wife,................then she looks at me and asks me when I'm playing golf today.  She might go along if it's not too hot outside.  Back from golf about 4pm.  Hangout at home again, answering Inn calls since the staff leaves at 6pm each day.  Repeat!!

I read your post and my first thought was, "That poor man."  My second thought was, "His poor wife".  I then proceeded to spit coffee all over my keyboard at work when I saw your next post.  That was fantastic!  :coolpics:

What a petulant post by the OP.  Did you ever take the time to think that maybe your wife gave up her dreams and aspirations so that she could support yours?

Nope.

:)

She's actually been with her company for 21+ years and not plannning on cashing in on that for at least another 4.

But thanks for the kind thought.

Good for you RR........anything worth doing is worth doing well and it takes a lot of work/play. I have been in the golf business for over 20 years and play an average of 120 rounds a year.........I practice almost everyday that I don't play...range ...putting...short game etc etc.
My wife supports me 100% in all this....doesn't hurt that I make very good money  too...we both enjoy the perks of my work/play.
Some of us are just blessed by finding the right partner.
Keep at it and keep us posted on progress.
