Love everything except the brass CMB plate.  Makes it look cheap and just doesn't match anything else on the head.  Would have been better doing in matching silver with black letters or Black with silver letters.  Just my .02.  Thx for the great pics.  I have the black PVD MB2's with the Monaco shafts and love them.

Those are bad a**! These folks at Adams have really been hitting the mark with these irons lately. I believe that overall they have the best looking offerings.

Less forgiving then CB1 I would assume?

Thanks to OP for pics

For me I didn't notice a huge loss in forgiveness. The weighting of them really pushes through the ball, I thinned a couple and they still came out very well. With the Tungsten insert, and the weight more situated on the toe and heel, with the sweet spot having that nitch taken out in the middle, I thought they were at least as forgiving as my CB1's, maybe more so... It's funny we had almost every OEM at Demo Day and I kept coming back and hitting the CMB over and over again. The C Taper shaft with it really minimizes spin too.

I fully agree,  this is indeed one of the nicest sets of Adam's irons I have seen.   One question,  does anyone seem to know what grade of steel they are forged???  1025? 8620?

They're 1025 Carbon Steel. Feel like butter when pured

It doesn't look near as tacky in person, I barely noticed it. I was too in love with how it hit to care that much about a little brass plate that I don't see at address ;)

Agree with the comments about the brass part looking cheap, but outside of that those are great looking irons.

I didn't even notice the brass plate when I first saw the pics. Guess I was mesmerized by the rest of the club.

Is the CMB badge actually a brass color or could it just be a cheap plastic piece that has a different look/glare. Doubt it, but didn't know if anyone commenting had actually gotten a good look in person. It's not a big deal, like others have said, but just seems dumb to make anything on the club THAT color when the rest is a clean satin & chrome look.

Makes no sense!

In this category, top of the TM line-up. Wonder how many TM players would like to switch to these?

I respectfully disagree with the comments about the brass plate. That may be because I have seen them in person.  I played golf with Loren Roberts on Tuesday at Colonial Country Club in Memphis and saw them up close all day long.  I think they look amazing. They have actually a "less is more" type of look. And the brass plate in person is a nice accent and hardly noticed.  Loren said he hadnt had them long and was still dialing in the lofts but loved the feel and look. I told him I have dibs on them if he decides to go with something else, I have a feeling I'll be waiting a while.

It looks like I am in the minority- I actually like the brass badge.  It is small, and adds just a very small hint of "bling".

I need irons, and like previously mentioned, I keep coming back to these while I'm searching the web. If they look anything like the pictures in person, it'll be an easy decision. Thanks for posting the pictures and information!

I agree with half your first and all the second line. I think they look pretty hideous. The mb2 is a much better looking iron.

These are awesome.  I just hit them at a demo day, and as I stated earlier, these may sway me from mizuno for the first time in 14 years.  The CMB badge is stuck on and totally removable.  The C-Tapers and whiteouts are standard.  June 15, $999 MSRP.  The rep tried to get me to preorder, this is how I know and how I demoed them.

I edited this to attach a few pics of the production model.  Great irons.

Looks like a great iron.  Starting to get a little confused about Adams iron line up though.  On the spectrum of game improvent vs. players iron, where does this fall?  I already don't see a clear difference between CB2/3 and the A12, now it gets a little more confusing.  I'm not knocking the club, im sure it will be great,   I'm just a little confused by the marketing. I believe most of Adams other forged offering are 8620.  Supposedly you can't feel a difference, but i always think 1025 is a little nicer, although it may be in my head.

Of the 3 sets of heads I got, 1 is for me (pure selfishness), 1 is for my banker and I think I might give the other set to a good buddy of mine. Shafted one up with a Tour Concept satin S3 out of curiosity. Its odd my A12 set has a new 6 iron in the middle of it. Can't wait for the new shafts to arrive.

So how did you get the heads only? You must have a connection.

I HAVE to stop by the shop this week to hit them (if you'll let me). :)  If Brandon gets that third set, I'm going to be very jealous!

These clubs are going to get to cult following status. These are going to steal players from all other brands.

1020 or 1025 is a much softer feeling metal than the 8620..........good move

there is always S20 and S25c wich is suppose to be even softer yet........think some of the JDM manufacturers use this metal
