MacGregor V-Foil 1025M.  These were the best blade i have ever hit.  Solid and consistent.  I played them for 8 years until the grooves were gone in the short irons.  Still stare at them from time to time.

Agree.  The V-Foil 1025M were awesome!

I went through a couple sets of Mizuno's (mp 57 & 62) before my current set, Srixon Z-star's. It is super easy to hit, and Srixon irons have that addicting feel at impact that's hard to describe in words. Highly recommended

The Yonex are in my bag, the rest are my range irons.

I have to say MP-14's were the best feeling and the most true.  I think the MP-68s are best of this era.

Cleveland TA 2s were a great set of sticks for me. It was the first time where I did everything right as far as getting a set professionally fitted – and it sure paid off on the golf course.

3 sets come to mind.

1.  Cleveland CG16 Tour 'T' stamp w/ KBS Tour X shafts.  Been playing these since April 2011.  Very easy to hit from any lie and perfect balance.  Extremely consistent from swing to swing.

2.  Callaway X Tours - Quite possibly the longest and straightest irons I've ever hit; too straight at times.  Perfect draws were the norm.  Cut shots were not so easy.

3.  Ping I3+ Blades - great heads, just did everything well.

Callaway Tour Authentic X-prototypes.................... the best swing balance of any club I've ever felt.

I have tried hardly any of the legendary irons of yesteryear however this has wiped the floor with everything else I've tested, including Mizzies, Hogans etc

Something different and something special, like it was made just for me.
