Does anyone know what clothes or belt Kuchar has been wearing?

There are things you think you will never hear another human say, and showing an interest in Matt Kuchar's attire is one of them. Without a doubt the WORST dressed golfer on tour at present.

If he really does wear Peter Millar clothing, they should pay him double to stop wearing it, as using him as a clothes horse is doing the brand no favours.

And what exactly is it that makes him the worst dressed golfer on tour? The fact that his clothes actually fit, instead of looking like they are 2 sizes too small? The fact that he doesnt typically wear loud, and a bit silly looking, colors? The fact that he doesnt pay for his clothes and you pay for yours, so you are jealous of them? What is it? I cant really find fault in his attire.

It is pretty simple.  His outfit last Saturday:

Posted Image

Lime green cap, Blue shirt, Khaki slacks with a DARK BROWN belt, LIGHT BROWN shoes.  Style is being able to put things together that compliment each other.  It is obvious that no thought what so ever goes into what he wears.   Not that there is anything wrong with it, especially if you don't care about style, but make no mistake,  when talking STYLE which is what this forum is about, Matt has no style at all.  He looks like a grandpa already.  He even has those Khaki's pulled up to his belly button like a grandpa.  If he thought about what he wore, he would mix in a brown, blue or khaki cap, not the lime green one he found in the trunk of his car before he walked to the clubhouse.

His shirt does not look too big at all! I also think the lime green and blue go fine together. I would also much rather wear what Kuchars wearing over what Fowler is wearing. Kuchar looks traditional.

Yeah, they go fine together -- it's just that neither goes with anything else he's wearing.

It's a bad look.

The stuff he wears are fine item by themselves. But the combos are terrible. And drop the pleats and cuffs, man. You are not in your 50s.

Yeah I'd have to rate him pretty low in regards to "fashion".  He looks like he's dressing for a boring day in the office.

I agree, the articles of clothing or accesories are just fine on their own, not when worn all together.

What is the fascination with dark belt + light pants + dark shoes? Bill Haas is a regular offender in that areas as well

But yeah I'm with many of the posts in this thread, the fit and the individual items are fine, but together it is just fugly. Except the pastel coloured hats, he seems to love those...

Yes he does look like a "rag bag".   Here is a clue...if you are wearing pleats, send your slacks back to die in 2004.  Sorry, that's just the truth.

Bill Haas, does sometimes look like he is channeling Jay, HOWEVER,  Bill Haas ALWAYS has his clothes CRISP.  Bill and Kuch might wear similar shirt and slacks, but Bill's always look impeccably fit and pressed.  Kuch....not so much.

Furyk for some strange reason appears to be after cash like a NASCAR driver or worse John Daley.  Jim is a class guy and one that I pull for, but it's like he has promised his dad 50% $ of any logo deal he can scare up, and Pops likes the expensive cigars.

I agree.

I understand Kuchar doesn't have fashion consultants to dress him for each tournament round, a la, Fowler, Tiger, IJP, etc. etc.  From the combos he wears, it is OBVIOUS he doesn't have a fashion consultant.

But he does have a wife.  A wife that has to hang out with all the other tour wives.  Couldn't she help a bit?  Maybe she's color blind or only sees in the grey spectrum so everything looks the same?  Does anyone have a wife that DOESN'T want their husband to look nice?  Especially on TV in front of millions of viewers, and more importantly, in front of prospective sponsors?

I don't fault Kuchar for his hideous attire.  It is atrocious, yes, but some guys just don't care.  Which is their prerogative.  I mean, here in the FASHION and STYLE forum we have a 19 page thread about whether to tuck or untuck?  Should have taken one post, "Tuck in your shirt."  Some guys just don't care to look nice.

But I do fault Kuchar's wife.  I'm absolutely sure she knows what looks good and isn't doing anything about it.  Of course, when your husband brings in $10MIL per year and you do nothing, I don't know how much say she actually has in his attire.

I think Furyk (or his camp) understands his endorsement days are drawing to a close give his age.  While I like him and think he's a good guy, he is not the kind of guy either in terms of wins or flash that is going to command huge endorsement deals (Srixon making him 'the guy' in their campaign notwithstanding).

As a major champion and stalwart Ryder Cupper, he's going to get airtime when paired with a big name or one of the leaders (as opposed to being ignored/cut away on tv), and that alone would probably let him get a decent club deal with one of the big boys, but it seems like he's decided that he wants the flexibility of choice, so that leaves the multi log approach.

I realize this is the "style forum" but are you guys serious?  Wow.  I'll tell you what makes those shoes and pleats and baggy shirts look really good.  The million dollar check he won a couple weeks back.

The pleats could probably go but count me in the group of not wearing shirts that are 2 sizes too small.  Some of those guys just look uncomfortable out there.  cough **phil** cough...

I don't understand why people get so irate if others want to be fashion conscious on the course. Do you feel that it is an insult to your masculinity?  I firmly believe that if you look good, you feel good, and you play good.

I'd rather wear clothes that actually fit me than walk around the course looking like a colourblind tramp.

Does anyone know what shirt Kuchar wore on Sunday at the Deuche Bank?  It would match my '91 corvette so I'm really hot to find it.  Hell, hat too or would that be pushing it?
