made by me heat treated and tempered , wooden handle with grip. sharpen able. $19.00 paypaled. $17.00 for plain wood grip. shipping out side us is $3.00. ive had a couple questions on if it will make grooves deeper, no it wont deepen them, it will remove metal from original groove that gets bent, dinged rolled int grooves from normal and not so normal play. if they break or chip i'll replace for nothing. cleans and sharpens any grooves
email is bbtpeters@charter.net i will stamp initials or nickname if wanted. they are double ended just pull out and turn around for different grooves. can glue in place. i will be posting a video on how to use within the next day or so. thanks BILL instruction video added hope ya can understand me have got a bad cold

Cool!

Do you have a 3X Black Oxide option?

Stampings & Paint Fill? :cheesy:

I really like handmade tools! Takes me way back to shop class in high school, when we made chissels & hammers that I still have to this day!

I've placed my order!

BTW, does anyone notice the poor quality of tools and brushes that are being pawned off on us at retail golf shops? That kind of reminds me of the 'Johnson Smith' catalogs with all the junk - like the handshake buzzer that worked for about 10 shakes! :drinks:

The 2 tips on the sharpner looks different.

Are they 2 different sharpner?

If yes, for $17, do you get both?

Got mine and used it this morning!

Very BOHEMIAN looking! :beee:

I like it! :)

The Handle and the Tool itself are stamped 'WOODY' in Half Moon Crescent, Horizontal and Vertical orientation!

The tool has shop odor from the quenching process.

As close as we will get to true custom shop offering for $17! ;)

Thanks Bill!

Woody

What flexes doe these come in?

Will it launch higher or lower than my Se Ri Diamana?

Do you find that it feels "boardy"?

OK after being a smartass, I guess I have to buy one right? That's the excuse I'll use for now. I'm in the process of starting my own Paypal account. Now that I'm a big boy and live by myself I guess I should stop using mom's.

:) Will send Paypal after I get through all of this verification crap.

Thought Id leavea little review. It got here sometime last week and was shipped quickly. Bill did a great job, I was plesantly suprised to find stampings on the sharpener and two on the handle itself. Very cool. I used it on my wedges and irons and its very easy to use, and seems to work very well. I havent hit balls on a golf course in months(snow) so im not sure if the ball will actually spin more or anything but the grooves do look sharper and freshend up. Nicely done Bill.

Since this hasn't been brought up, will this tool keep the grooves USGA legal?
Assuming you don't abuse it that is.

yes it will, when your grooves start to ware it is because the metal starts to curl over int the groove making it smaller the tool keep the original groove clean and removes the metal thats curled over. the tip of the tool is just under 30 thousands of an inch so you have alot of lean way, when the grooves get beyond usga limits it shot any way.

WildWill....I live in NC and would love to get one of your divot sharpeners prior to me leaving on my annual Myrtle Beach golf trip next weekend. Any problems shipping to NC by 2/2? If not, let me know and I'll PayPal immediately.

PS-I'm looking at the fancy "Tour" model for $22

BST Rules

Very simply put it is our intent to create a "safe haven" to buy, sell and trade equipment. Honor and integrity will be restored to a badly tainted tour equipment marketplace Our Buy / Sell / Trade section has to be managed. There are rules that need to be followed. To allow the "GolfWRX.com" community to grow we are not requiring any fee for listing items at this time. You must have 75 posts to create a new Ad in the BST or PM Gxgolfer for paid alternatives. Violation of any of these Rules (in addition to the Board rules) can result in BST rights and suspension. Ads will be deleted without notice if rules are not strictly followed.

  • 1. You must have 75 posts to create a new Golf related product Ad in the BST or PM Gxgolfer for paid alternatives. ClubWRX members are exempt from the restriction (to join look on right column). Users can pay $5 to get their Ad approved if under 75 posts. Please PM Gxgolfer as he will need to know their paypal email address. The BST is for Golf Related items only.
  • 2. Pinned Ad fees are $10 for the first week, $5 for renewal. That is for up to 10 items, all BST rules apply.
  • 3. Members are allowed one listing, maximum of 10 items, per 30 days of a particular item and one listing per 24 hours (i.e. no listing of an item, selling it, closing the ad and starting a brand new one a few hours later). Seller must combine their Ads and cannot post new Ads unless their previous Ad is Closed or deleted.
  • 4. Must have a sale price. Including items up for trade. Sellers must combine their Ads and cannot post new Ads unless their previous Ad is Closed or deleted. All For Sale Items must be combined/listed in One Ad.
  • 5. Must have Photos. Small or blurry images in your Ad may cause it to be removed without warning. Also, because its impossible to tell if an Ebay picture is original, no watermarked images from Ebay or similar type hosting services is allowed. If wanting to use those services, then please post a picture with your username visible with the item.
  • 6. All WTB posts are locked. Replies should be sent by PM or Email. Listing trade items requires pictures and prices and should be placed in the FS section, not the WTB section.
  • 7. Equipment- Please state whether original or altered. This applies to all equipment and all processes. Refinished, reshafted, lie angles adjusted etc. Pullouts- please remove grip to make sure the shaft is not plugged. Measure accurately. Provide tipping information if known.
  • 8. No selling new uninstalled shafts without prior approval per the Rules of the OEM. Please PM Gxgolfer if needing more clarification.
  • 9. Members must close your own AD once the item(s) is sold, traded or no longer available.
  • 10. Bumping Rules

- Posts are now sorted by Date of Topic Creation.
- Sellers must combine their Ads and cannot post new Ads unless their previous Ad is Closed or deleted.
- Please PM a moderator or report your post to have it moved to the Archive B/S/T Forum or to be deleted.
- Repeated improper Reposting of Ads can warrant suspension of forum rights.

  • 11. No unauthorized commercial postings. Please contact Gxgolfer if needing more clarification.
  • 12. No negative comments regarding sellers asking prices.
  • 13. Please refer to the BST Dispute forum on how to resolve BST transactions between Members
  • 14. Use the Violation button (even on your own listing) if help is needed
  • 15. No Advertising of "Gifting" or other means to circumvent payment fees.

Please note there are two sections. One for GolfWRX.com Sponsors and the other is the General Community section.
