I have hit several of the drivers (yet to hit a fairway wood) and I am extremely unimpressed. It just feels off somehow to me. It felt like I hit it thin on every swing no matter where I hit it on the face. To me the R11 is a much better club.

I had the RBZ tour for a bit. It just didn't work for me. But my tour SFTP 2.0 v2 is wonderful though.

I do love my RBZ 3 wood and hybrid however.

Don't know why, but it just never felt like I hit a solid shot with it.

I felt the same way. Kind of "dead" in a sense. There was maybe 1 out of 7 shots that felt solid for me. I thought it was my swing but used my friends driver right after and the ball flight was solid.

if you have a faster swing (100-115 mph) it might be too light for you.

I was unimpressed with it until I tried a Matrix Black Tie 7M3 in it. It was pretty impressive then. I couldn't stand the sound of the tour.

the thing that i really like about the RBZ 3 wood is they made a big head easy to hit off the ground, and it hides it's phatness well so doesn't look brutal

It's long...i was impressed when i hit it. But if you buy a rapture V1 or something which is also a mini driver it's pretty comparable. The difference is the RBZ looks nice IMO

I was pretty underwhelmed with the stock shaft but after I put a RIP Alpha into the club it has been solid. Perhaps a bit longer than the TL310 I had before and more forgiving on mishits.

This is how I felt with the R11, it felt dead everytime and very loose. Sold it and went back to my R7 Quad

I changed out the shaft of the tour 3W and had it hotmelted to get the SW to D-4 and feels more solid

I had the regular RBZ driver and I could not stop slicing it. I wasn't a bad driver by any means, it just wasn't for me. So I picked up the R11s, problem solved.

Like you, I love my RBZ 3 wood and 19 hybrid. They are absolute monsters.

The problem is buying a head that you can't hit until you get the perfect shaft. I can't make myself do that. I have to use one that I hit well and dial it in with the shaft.

I guess that coul be it, I'm 115-118 mph, the shafts I hit might have been to light. But still shouldn't have felt that bad.

I'm in the opposite camp with the RBZ Tour. I had very low expectations but hit it side by side with the R11s/12LS/Razor Fit and the RBZ Tour with RIP Gamma was the best in all categories by a good margin on the launch monitor. Also, the RBZ Tour has been great on the range and course.

By the way, I don't find the combo loud or have a harsh feeling like so many have posted. If anything it has the solid TM sound and feel to me and that is a good thing.

Needles to say, it will be in the bag for a while

A lot of the time, a shaft will also effect sound..I have a Diamana Kai'li 70X in my RBZ Tour 9 and find the sound very similar to my SFTP 1.0 or my Superdeep.  Just TM sound and feel.

RBZ 3 and 5 wood with RIP Phenom 70X also help with the feel, RBZ 4 hybrid with F3 Motore(Fujikura) is OUTSTANDING!

At your SS , you need to find one of upgrade shafts in an X flex and check it out.

I agree the driver is a completely different club when the right upgraded shaft is put in. Hit a tour 9 the other day with a 73x WB and I hit bombs

I hit the RBZ hybrid (I think it's the 22*?) yesterday afternoon, and it was at least 10 yards longer than every other similar lofted hybrid.  Then I looked at the club side by side, and it's near an inch longer than everything.

I did really like the weight, feel and sound of the club, but I ended up buying the i20 instead.

I knew I'd be obsessing with replacing all my woods if I had bought that club. :man_in_love:

To me, it looks like a mini fairway wood instead of a true hybrid like the i20.

I hit one with a stock shaft and I never felt like I hit a solid shot with it.  SS was 188-120 and I felt the club was too light for me to feel during the swing.  I think with an aftermarket shaft I could have hit bombs, but in stock form I was wholly unimpressed.

At the demo days at my club he had a 7m3 black tie in X and with that shaft in it it was a real bomber. This is from a guy who has hated Taylormade drivers since my illfated purchase of an R9 460. That thing spun like a wedge with every shaft i TRIED.

I like it. I feel like the "it's dead" comments are accurate.

BUT

I can't seem to mishit the ball. I barely strike the ball dead center and I'm getting consistent ball flight, not much sidespin and only losing 5 yards. I think it's dead because the whole face is hot and you can't tell where on the club you're hitting it, but apparently it doesn't matter if you're looking for a GI club.

i did not like the stock 3 wood or 19 hybrid shafts at all. i hit them very inconsistently (tops and hooks all day) but i did catch 'em on the screws a few times to be sold on the heads. i'm picking up the clubs from my fitter tonight with a NV-85S in the 3 wood (cut to 43.5") and a SNV8 in the hybrid (cut to 41"). will give 'em a go come sunday. can't wait to start a fresh round with the new shafts.

I'm thinking about a Tour RBZ TP because I kind of like the head shape and I LOVE the RBZ Tour 3 wood.
Question I have is this: is the stock shaft a "real" HD6 or not and does it play true to flex?

I am underwhelmed by the Rocketballz 3 wood. I feel like the white is so 2011. I was hoping for a different color again.

I hit the RBZ driver today on the course and never hit it that well. Just seemed too light.  I do like the spoon and have one on order.

On a side note......Cleveland had a demo session at my club today and the guy there fitted me with the 265 Black 10.5 driver. His monitor showed that I was getting 15 more yards of carry. He lets me take it on the course for a comparison and I never could get much more out of it over my Nickent Evolver. It did have a higher launch which he said I needed, but I like my slightly lower launch Nickent. I get good roll out of it.

Not sure what to think of these monitors. My club pro just got one so I plan to try out several drivers next week to see how the numbers look. Pick the best one and try it on the course. if just 5 yards or so gain, I'm staying put with what I have. Why spend $300 on little gain?
