That wedge grind is awesome!  Looks like Tiger is resorting to GolfWRX ho'ing tactics.. when your swing fails and all else is beyond explanation, resort to HO'ing!!

I'm looking at my 7 iron next to the photos of his and they are very similar.  It almost looks like the muscle on his is a bit lower, but maybe not.  The only thing that looks really different is that his trailing edge appears to have a custom grind.  It definitely looks more rounded and softer than mine.

I was going to say you may be right about it being the first time anyone was really allowed up upclose take pics of his clubs, but as I recall, there were pics of his wedges on here last year. So it (obviously) wouldn't be the first time anyone ever took pics of them, but I don't think it's the first time on here, either.

This is sweet, although I wish there were better wear marks! One question: maybe its just the lighting, but what's up with the grind on his 56 degree?

It's like a TriSoled wedge.  Very aggressive leading edge grind similar to some I've seen Don White do in the past.  The apex of the leading edge grind is almost mid sole....obviously serves a purpose.  Not too sure about the mid sole and trailing edge combo grinds on a 56....I remember Tiger used to play a 60 and 56 with something like 6* of bounce on both.  He used to be a magician with the wedge, but these grinds lead me to believe he is trying to combat an issue or something.  Maybe someone with an inside can get more info!!!  Posted Image
