
This was pretty much what I thought when he changed to Foley, but was somewhat verified by Haney's book. The only reason he is going through another swing change is to keep him interested. He needs something to be working on in order to keep him practicing and interested in golf.
But I do agree with Alliss and Jenkins. He is so insanely talented, all he needs to do is practice and show up. He may not win 30%, or whatever the insane number is, of tournaments he enters. But he'll still get plenty more wins. He doesn't need to be going through all these significant swing changes to improve. Not only that, but he gives away 2 years each time that he could be playing majors and possibly winning one or two of them.
