I have the D2 with Aldila RIP shaft but I've heard very good reviews on the Diamana Kai'li. Would appreciate some feedback on shaft differences and your personal preferences. Should i make the change? Thanks.

Ultimately, it depends on why change - change for change sake or change for a specific reason?
Each shaft has it's own properties - the RIP will feel stiffer/harsher than the Kai'Li with lower launch and spin. The Kai'Li on the other hand will feel smoother with a higher ball flight with more spin. Each to their own I guess, but if you're looking to go one way or the other, then pick a shaft accordingly based on your specific requirements.

this is 100000% correct. and i also agree with the post higher up. if you want/need higher launch and spin give the Kai'li a whirl.

Actually, I've got an ahina 82S (MFT) in mine, and it feels nothing like a cooked spaghetti noodle.  Hit the RIP when I was getting fit, and I hated the harsh feel.  The Ahina 82S just felt solid, and gave me the exact ball flight I was looking for.

Going to the Kaili 65 is a step down from the Aldila RIP.

I have the Kaili 65s in a D2 and it does launch the ball very high and spins the ball alot, I would imagine other shafts can gain a few yards for a good swing, it does feel on the softer side of stiff to me but I have hit alot of good drives with this, I consider this to be the best driver I have used but I am looking for a shaft that will spin less, not necessarily lower flight much, just a fraction, should perform even better. How does the AD DI6s work with the D2? Most reviews of it seem to be with D3 which is a lower spin head.

Which Kai'li are you looking at? The MFT or the real deal shaft?
For the record, don't pay attention to all the criticism of the MFT shafts. They feel and perform quite close to the real deal shafts, but obviously don't work for all these folks with perfect swings.
