Just curious. I've never been able to play comfortably with my watch on. Mainly because I don't like a tight fitting watch, so its lose and can move. Also stems from being taught that watches aren't built to withstand shocks constantly. However I've just received my new trion:z as a replacement for a broken one and can finally wear it. I'm finding it comfy and not having trouble swinging with it. Do you wear a watch when playing, or am I just odd?

I can't wear my watch when I play.  The only thing on my wrists when I play is my Trion:z bracelets.

I have a watch that I don't wear to much to begin with. But I don't wear it when I'm playing, I can't stand having it on my wrist because I tried once or twice, its probably because I don't wear it that much to begin with. But no I don't wear a watch when golfing.

Nope, don't like the feel at all. I don't wear a glove either.

Question for you Trion-Z guys. Do they actually give you any performance benefit? I have a chronic shoulder issue that any help would be nice.

I don't wear one as it restricts my wrist **** on the backswing. Might be a probelm all lefties face or is it just me?

I take mine off when I play, it feels uncomfortable while swinging.

I usually wear it during warm up and on the putting green then take it off and put it in the bag at the first tee.

I never wear a watch because I have like the skinniest wrist on earth and it's to much trouble getting one to fit me.

I voted yes.

My usual watch is an automatic self-winding model. It's nothing fancy, but when I play golf I wear a cheap digital Timex. I hardly ever look at it while on the course, but it doesn't bother me and sometimes I like to know how fast or slow my round is going.

I feel naked without a watch, but can only play with a light watch on my wrist. Most of my watches are too bulky and heavy for golf, so usually wear either Omega Speedmaster or Tissot PR 50, neither restrict my swing or are at all obtrusive when playing. A watch is useful for timing my partners search for lost balls ! LOL

Yep, I wear my watch. As it's a heavy dive watch I possibly shouldn't but like ranghips I feel naked without it on.

I love watches, but won't wear one while playing.  Nothing to do with my performance, but I refuse to watch the clock while I am playing... I am out there to enjoy myself and get away for a couple of hours... same reason I don't wear my cell phone while playing.

I will not wear anything on my wrists whilst playing golf. It doesn't feel 'right' to me and it distracts me when I'm concentrating on my grip/setup etc.

When I used to wear a watch (now I just use my cell phone to check the time) I always had to take it off when playing.  I think it was a superstition thing more than anything else.  I remember one round I started off horribly on the first 3 holes, noticed my watch was on, took it off and started hitting the ball much better.  Completely mental.

I now wear a yellow Livestrong bracelet and a black Trion:Z on my left wrist.

No watch or wedding ring either. I wear my watch a little loose so it moves around too much for me to leave it on for golf. No wedding ring because it just feels weird gripping the club with it on.

I'm the same way, love watches, but can't stand having it on when playing. Whats the point of wearing one when your playing? I think it's more of a distraction than anything...

Question to you guys that wear one, what does it do for you when you wear your watches?? Just curious:)

I park my Rolex Sub in my locker and wear a Raymond Weil on course. Why you ask? When you are one of the youngest members, the older guys watch you like a hawk...which is cool. Time you on lost ball hunt, challenge your penalty drop lines etc... the usual... :)

Damn you play with some serious players,by the book kinda guys....... I like it,how long are you actually allowed to look for a lost ball?

I never take off my watch.  Which watch I wear depends on which club I'm playing.  Regular Seikos for regular places and my Bvlgari for the clubs.  Makes it look like I have money when all I really have is $9.75 bumping around my pocket :) :cheesy:
