Did I miss something? Is Rory working with Stockton?

Great pictures as always, Greg. Thanks for the hard work. From all the comments, quite a few surprises and first looks. That is why all the OEM's are scared of you! :drinks:

I'm pretty sure that Rory has been working with Stockton for a while now, though not sure for how long.  At Augusta, Rory presented Dave with a signed US Open flag and they took a bunch of photos (long with Dave's two sons, Dave, Jr & Ron).

Thanks, glad you (and all the GolfWRX members enjoy the photos).

I'd like to think it is more a respect for what we/I do, more so than fear.

Rory worked with Stockton between the Masters and US Open last year to fix his stroke.  Commentators were talking about it a bunch.  His stroke and putter were completely different from the Masters to the US Open.   Can't remember the exact wording but someone about not releasing the putter and keeping the back of his hand going towards the hole with a higher finish.

Is Lovemark not the BIGGEST FREAK'N guy or what!!!?

O know there are a bunch of taller players these days, but Jamie is built like a big time NFL quarterback or perhaps Brian Urlacher.  I think he dwarfs Vijay, Robert Karrlson, Ernie etc.

I went today and saw a lot of those bags, etc.

I also watched that Jamie Lovemark hit on the range for a while. That kid pounds it! Very solid driver of the ball. I had never heard of him and I'm not sure how the rest of his game is compared to his long game.

It was also interesting to see that some guys were definitely struggling today. Steve flesch was struggling with drivers, stayed very late on the range. I really enjoyed watching him though. You could see he was dedicated and definitely started hitting the ball better.

Mike Wier was also working very hard today as well. Him and his swing coach were analyzing every part of his swing.

Yeah that dude is no small fry. I watched him hit at least 100 drivers, most with the trackman monitor. My eyeball test was telling me he was carrying it 300 easily. He was also the only player I saw that could fly it onto the hitting area of the back part of the range.

I was one of the last spectators to leave. Basically, I was on the bus coming back to the parking lot with all of the volunteers. As such, I was out there when a couple of players went out on the course by themselves to play some holes. I watched Tommy 2 gloves play a few holes, then I followed Gary Woodland and his caddie. Dude just pounds it.

And it's in a glued

The design on top of the shaft looks like the oban tour prototype. Maybe this is a final version or just a custom paint job.

Thanks for the great pics as always.

It is an Oban shaft

Yeah, that is the Oban Tour Prototype V430. Used to be called the Mach something. I have one in my RHT, great shaft.

Not a knock on DJ at all, but Jamie could have legitimately been a DI stud in 3 sports.  He's a freak.  Watch him throw a football sometime...

DJ is longer, though, and obviously his career has been on a better track.  Hopefully Jamie can stay healthy and get back at it!

Woodland is out according to Kelly Tilghman's Twitter

"Gary Woodland still treating left wrist. Unable to compete at Wells Fargo Championship."

Couldn't help but notice Anthony Kim's OU carry bag.  I hope AK gets his game and health back.  I hate seeing golfers struggle.

Yeah....I thought AK was just rocking the bag in support of his school, but it turns out he lost his bag deal.  That's not cool....I'm with you, hope he gets it back....the amount of talent he has is insane....

You would think Nike would kick in a couple grand for him to carry a staff bag.  I know AK isn't playing that well but he is fairly popular and uses Nike equipment.  He could have lost the entire Nike contract and I don't know though...
