Thinking about switching my club grips to GripMasters after reading about them here. They have bunch of different options (SR vs standard). Was wondering what people's experiences are.

Best grips I have ever used. As soon as I settle on a set of irons, I will be getting a set of the grips to put on them.

I really like how they feel tacky and don't slip when I get sweat or rain on them.

They are great and Harry is constantly coming up wth some great ideas for new styles. Only grips I would ever use.

I liked them but went back to my cross line cords. Both grips hold up well in rain or sweat but I could not get used to the pine tar dirt that comes off the Gripmasters. It gets on everything and I just felt dirty.

I've used them for the last two years. I replace them in January...no need to do it again unless I change a club. I actually could get away with getting another season on the ones I have now, it's just a force of habit.

Don't go through gloves (leather won't wear out leather), great in the wet, great in the summer, don't even need a glove I just wear one because I'm used to it.

I tried them. They looked good, felt nice and tacky but were just too firm for me. I've heard the shock absorbing models feel softer so maybe sometime I'll give those a try.

PM sarge1948. That is Harry and he can talk to you about what would fit best. The nice thing is that if you know what weight of grip you are looking for, they will try to make sure that the grips are all in the same or very close weight. Expensive grips but, worth it.

Put one on my 8802. Love the feel and hopefully back starts feeling better so I can putt a little bit with it.

I use the perforated SR which I think is the shock reducing one. They feel great. The other nice thing is they look really "old school" when they are on a set of blades :D

tell me a bit about your game.

low handicap? tempo? age? injuries? hand size (measure from the wrist crease to the tip of index finger.)? do you hit a lot of range balls? do you like a reminder? do you wear a glove? are you right or left handed?

fyi, there is no pine tar or pine tar extracts in our protack formula and it will not leave a residue.

regards,
sarg1948

They are a good glove at a great price point. I have been using them for the last ten years. My only problem is sizing. The last couple of years the sizing has been an issue. I have found the gloves to be a little loose fitting and had to exchange them. The company is very easy to work with and will honor and reasonable request.
