I've done this myself multiple times. I'll buy something, and then by something very similar (hybrids have been my bane lately) before the first has even shipped and I'll sell the repeat while usually taking a little hit, thats par for the course when ho'ing clubs.
But he doesn't have much to lose, member 130,000, 2 posts, 3 feedback. I've been an active member on this board for the better part of 7 years, try to have insightful/funny posts and be some type of productive forum member, until stuff like this happens. Oh well.

i'd like to hear his side of the story too however, he must have had unreal expectations on when the clubs would arrive and then changed his tune about the club faces being not represented accurately to add to his PayPal claim, imo.
would love to hear more but this is not good for me - i was hoping BST was the place to have transactions without the headaches of PayPal and or Craigslist. kind of a bummer as i am now reluctant to sell here too.

I called Paypal to see what the deal was and talked with a customer service person and they said that basically they side with the buyer 99% of the time unless I have absolute evidence. So this goes down in the books for me.
Anyone want to buy a wedge set???

Well you got his address now.. Send him a "surprise."
I'm only kidding, of course. Sorry it didn't work out man. I'm glad I haven't ran into any of these sorts of problems myself.

Thanks I saw that right after I typed it on here. I'd like to send them all the PM's I have had with him to show the dates that information was parlayed between us.
I'm thinking I'll close this topic and leave it for feedback on him, lol.

promised to ship next day (said I'd try to ship next day but no promises), I needed the clubs for a member guest (mad he didn't get), he didnt ship for 4 days(Monday, Tuesday=1, Wed = 2, Thursday = 3, then, during the 4 days, was completely unresponsive to mulitiple emails and attempts to contact (Just an incorrect statement). AWFUL SELLER (I disagree) STAY AWAY (Please don't!
He wanted the clubs for the weekend and is mad he didn't get them, thus the problem. Does anyone know if this feedback can be disputed on here to where the MODs can remove, as not to tarnish my feedback due to the subject moron above??
How much time past between payment and shipping?
Please read earlier, he paid on Monday and I shipped as early as I could on Thrusday. I have to take my lunch breaks at work to drive to the nearest post office to ship so I don't ship every day but usually every couple of days. I said I'd TRY to get them out by the middle of the week, but wasn't able, had to actually have my roommate ship them out Thrusday AM due to craziness at work, and I told him on Thursday they got shipped.

If I were him I'd keep the clubs and just figure that's what I get for expecting guaranteed delivery from a classified ad.
OTOH if I were you I'd back off at this point and cut my losses.
Can't see any winner or loser here but you did let him down, you gotta admit.
That's my thought too.
I will agree, I personally would have liked to have gotten them shipped out ealier, but leaving work to ship was not an option for a couple of days (and when I realized I wouldn't be able to get them out, I had my roommate ship). So while I'm in the same boat (I like to hope people can usually get stuff shipeed out within 2-3 business days, probably don't have them with them right now, gotta go home and box em up, etc), I don't jump the gun and file claims on items unreceived, and then change the dispute saying they're not in the condition as advertised.
I could post the entire conversation, but I put it in a word document, edited out the pictures and its over 11 pages long, lol.
thevaporz: I had done that in the sale ad (basically saying I'd ship every other day) but I didn't outline into the next week when these were bought. I guess I should try to outline.

Completely right. I can see the buyer being annoyed that it shipped a little slow, but to file a PP claim? Thats just stupid.
BTW, where is this guy? Does he know there is a thread about this?

Mods please close, Paypal has made their decision, and I was just wanting other input from members if I was in the wrong. Now that the buyer has joined the arugment, this will just become the 4 paage of PM's we've sent saying that I lied and cheated and switched faces on the wedges and propbably hit his dog with my car when he was 12.
