Or they are taking their time so that they do not make the same mistake as last time. I wonder what the count is on people that kept the upro mx. I for one still have it and is the best gps I ever had for a reasonable price with all the features it has!!! I would expect if they do the price will be a lot higher but that is just my guess!! Time will tell!!!

I just got an e-mail from callaway golf. They said we no longer sell that device nor have plans to release that device again. We are currently working on another Callaway Gps.I knew I should have turned mine in on the recall. My home course is totally different now so I suppose it wont be remapped.

Good to hear. I bought the original Upro the week it came out, and have used it hundreds of times without one hiccup. Great product, and when I recently went to the Upro site, I found that I had a bunch of credits in my account for free. I hope Callaway continues its GPS development. Id buy an upgraded version of the original in a heartbeat!!

Frankly, I was shocked at the way Callaway handled this; just picking up their marbles and going home, so to speak. I have seen "oopsies" before in all kinds of software development, but never a rollout that was so hopelessly crippled, and with no light at the end of the tunnel. For me, this is "The Big Miss" I wish some insider would write a book about. I'd really like to know what happened.
As long as they are continuing to work on GPS your course should be updated. Have you contacted Callaway about updating your course?
