I've been playing Prov1x for a while and I love them but they dont last and I hit moon shots. I've switched over to b330 to compare. I used to mix the b-330 in before so lets see the new 2012 model.

I only use prov1/prov1x's because of the way they feel around the greens. That aspect is very important to me. I haven't played a ball that feels the same off the wedge/putter. Until I do, I cant switch.

You should add the Srixon Z-Star and Z-Star XV to the Tour Ball list.

The SL is for swing speeds under 95 mph.

+1

The XV is as good as, if not better than, the prov1x and the yellow covers are basically bomb proof.

Yes - By only posting the SL, Srixon is getting the shaft in this poll.  The XV is immensely popular.  I doubt more than a handful of GolfWRX members have tried the SL.

Further, the Pro V1 and Pro V1X are combined.  As are the 20XI-S and 20XI-X.

So why was Srixon only given the SL as an alternative?  Why not Z-Star / XV / SL, their 3 premium balls?

The Penta TP5 has an even better feel around the green than the ProV1 to me.

Is the Q Star the US equivalent of the AD333 or a different ball altogether?

Bridgestone seem to be getting more and more popular these days - 330 RXS in my bag atm

Why isn't the z-star and z-star xv on the list?
I played 27/36 holes in a tournament yesterday with the same yellow z-star and it's still good for another 18. Try doing that with a prov1, you can't. Oh yea and I'm still playing vokeys with u-grooves.
I think there is no comparison in the durability of the z-star compared to other tour balls.
B-330 is in second place for sure. Spin and distance for most serious tour balls are pretty similar

+1

Pro V1 is a good ball, but the Z-Star is just as good (imo) and the durability is far superior.  Plus, the yellow is so much easier to see!!!!   I wish the other brands would make their premium balls in yellow, I would be more inclined to at least give them a try.

I have a Pro v1x in my bag that has went through 36 holes... It still ready to go..

I gave the z-star xv a try and to me it doesnt even compare to the pro v1 around the greens..

As much as I always like to try new stuff, I always find myself going back to the pro v1x.

Nothing else is even close..

Pro V1's all the way.  Especially, when you find them in the woods. It's hard to justify $40 per dozen   Mostly get used.

Put me down for Bridgestone.  330s on calm days, e6 on breezy days.

Hate to say it but Penta TP5 is ProV1x off the tee and ProV1around the greens.  Plus at buy 2 and get one free they end up around $30 per dozen.

Never thought a ball could put the Pro V1x out my bag but the Bridgestone B330s is the best ball I've ever hit. To any Pro V loyals that haven't tried it just give it a round. Haven't tried the Penta 5 but at the moment I just can't switch.

I bet that more than 50% of people that voted Titleist ProV1/V1x never tried anything else...for example Bridgestone...way better ball. I think it is all marketing

I have played every golf ball in the top tier and the ProV1/V1x is the best in my opinion.  Nothing comes close.  If you watch the Golf Channel lately you will see other balls marketed more but they just aren't as good.  There is a reason that more people play them then anyone else.  Marketing can only carry you for so long.

What he said.

Srixon Soft Feel. The best "value for money" balls on the market.
