I woulda never thought to go to target for a high end sleeping bag... the wash for your buddy was mr. switcheroo, the guy that got the prov balls for the price of the nikes. the wash for op would be the guy who got charged double for one dozen, if there is anyone like that

I figured someone would bring that up.  It was an Eddie Bauer brand, over $100.  Sure I could have gone to a camping/adventure boutique and spent $300 on one that was slightly better but I was fresh out of college and $100 was about $90 more than I had ever spent on a sleeping bag before.

Target sells lots of "high end" stuff especially when it comes to their private labels - it's just rebadged name brand products.

Did you guys know that Kirkland vodka and Grey Goose are made with the same ingredients, brewed the same way and come from the same factory in France?  You'd be extremely hard pressed to taste any difference and there is no difference in quality.

These disputes are a waste of time. There are two ways of thinking.  This has nothing to add to the golfballs forum. Lock it and move on.

I can;t imagine why you read, let alone posted, where you think time is being wasted. This thread can exist, and YOU can move on just as easily.

You completely missed what I was saying.  These ethical discussions come up all the time. One side tries to justify their questionable actions, the other tells them they are wrong and are stealing. It is the same outcome every single time.

You really think this discussion should be part of an equipment forum? This would be much better in the off-topic forum if there needs to be a no-win conversation.  How does this help someone finding info for golf balls?  You put your .02 in, so there is no reason that I couldn't put mine in. Much different than someone coming into a TM thread and saying "I'll wait 6 months until they have another 3 drivers out and this one will be discounted".
