Got the 712 AP1 instead but sometimes I read about all the play the i20 is getting with the pros and I wonder if I should've reached a little higher.

I have an i20 3 iron, and the only thing I could improve on it is taking the offset out to S56 level if I could, and thinning the sole up a little bit, very easy, high and long off the tee.

Don't see many pros switching to i-20s.  Ping staffers seem to be mainly using the S series (especially S-56)..

That will be an S56 three iron you need then :-)

I got my I-20's two weeks ago.
I ordered black dot, + 1/4", with KBS Stiff shafts and I am highly impressed.  I've been playing J-38's w/ x100's for the past year and I thought I would never use a cast club again until the I-20's came along.  They feel amazing for a cast club, even the mishits aren't near as harsh.
I was also afraid that the launch/ball flight would be too high but these clubs have delivered on everyhing that I could hope for and more.
The only complaint that I have is the fact that ping charges a freaking mint for basically any shaft other than the stock CFS shafts.
This club has to be one of the top irons for 2012,  I would highly recommend these for anyone that's in the market for a new set of irons in the near future.

Haha, I have S-56's 4-P, afraid the 3 iron wouldn't be easy enough, I'll live with the offset as long as it's so reliable and long off the tee and hot off the ground.

I think a good shout is mixing it up between the S56 & i20 range, I think some of the Pro's may go this way also seing as the i20 is derived from the S56, they make a good team.

I use S56 P-6 then i20 5&4 irons
(Had Ping match the swing weight to D1 in the i20 to match my S56's)
