It's a schtick with plhr.  It's obvoiusly on purpose, if you haven't been following.  It's a pattern.  That's why it's trolling.

just filling you in.

It's not at all having a discussion when one continuously suggests the ET is decidedly weaker in quite a few of his posts.

The USA is but one country. Just because HE may not know the players means nothing. Last I checked, we've got major winners from every corner of the globe- it's clear on so many levels that we are not the centerpiece of professional golf...

Get over it? This isn't a TW thread you know...

I thought it was pretty funny to ask Europeans how many players on the European Tour are recognizable.

It's either really clever or really...not clever.  I can't tell.

Once again we hear from a patriotic American who probably couldnt even tell you where Europe is, heck he probably thinks Europe is a country.

Stop being so self indulged and broaden your horizons. The euro tour must have something going for it, they regularly attract better fields and the worlds best players for a lot less money. Why???  Because the tour is quality, the golf is interesting and players want to play there. Maybe not the US players, but every other world class player is playing there as well now.

It's not the same boring golf week in week out which the US tour is starting to become, the country I am from has shifted over the past 10 years and now watch/follow and prefer the Euro tour for the above reasons........ And because of Johnny miller!!!

Ive always wondered about the number of patrons at euro events.  I feel like everytime im watching them on tv the crowds are aubstantially smaller than pga/usga events.

Although i have to admit their commentators are way better.

Im always for let the kid play. Esp if he qualified.

Congratulations to Guan Tian-Lang, the youngest player ever to play on the European tour, aged just 13. I believe he is off to get trollied.

I consider Euro to be anything besides NI or SA. People from those countries know how to handle business.

I would agree with the commentators. They are quite good. Crowds are abysmal, but who would want to watch a bunch of no names without Rory in the field?

Can someone remind me of the procedure to block posts from a particular member?

I've only had to do so once before, since it's not often that a candidate crops up whose posts are consistently so utterly vacuous that I know I'll never have even the slightest interest in reading anything they write. Consequently, I'm a bit rusty.

I apologies to Messrs  Beckman, Gore, Biershenk , Reifers, Matthis and  McGirt. They are obviously fine golfers or they wouldn't be doing what they are doing right this minute.
I got sucked in and dragged down to a base level.

It's easily done. That's why I was so anxious to find the Ignore User button.

It's the forum equivalent of getting into the car and driving away, out of earshot, when some idiot's chinning on and trying to show off to his girlfriend at the roadside.

Well I know of the leader.  Not for anything good, but I remember him.   He gave that trainwreck of an interview last year re: smoking weed on the course, if we can recall.

But hey, lets not discount the stellar field when a 2011 NWtour grad is 3 clear of the nearest guy, and at least 5 clear of everyone T4 or worse.

expand your comment.......please?

Lesser competition. That being said, I think this kid will easily be in the top 30.

Scroll through a Euro Tour board and let me know how many names look familiar. You will only need one hand to count...especially now that Rory is on "holiday" for who knows how long and Westwood, well who knows what he is up to.

Us tour let woman play!!!!!!!!  You even let Anthony Kim still play!,
the US players on their tour get their arse Kicked bi- anually in he Ryder Cup

PS This 13 year old kid won the world at Torrey Pines shooting 63

I understand some of you guys defending the European Tour...they are all great players, but you are just being naive if you think week in and week out the fields of those events match the events state side...the weeks that the Euro tour has elite fields is when they pay many of the big boys to be there...
