I'm trying to sign up for the Gary Gilchrest in Ringgold, GA. The projected field size is 96- 24 girls and 72 boys. There are 98 boys trying to get in and about 40 of them are exempt. Does this mean that there are 26 alternates? How do they choose who gets to play?
All help is appreciated.
How did you play? I was in that event! Shot 70 73 75

Great playing man! What state are you from? Do you play in SJGT or USJGT?

My name is Roseanna Smith and I'm VP of Communications for the AJGA. I'd like to recommend that you call our Player Services department (770) 868-4200 to discuss PBE (how to get into events) and any other questions you may have. Navigating junior golf can be tricky, but our staff works with many parents and players each day (members or not) to look at factors like age, scoring, location, etc, to recommend some pathways and questions to consider. Feel free to call or send us an e-mail at firstname.lastname@example.org to get some help!
Welcome to the forums Roseanna! There are many Junior Golfers here that can rely on your AJGA expertise , so I hope to see you posting regularly this season!
