Could you snap a pic of your 8 iron at the same address position as the 6 iron, or maybe just dead square face on? Does your 6 iron pictured here have same look as your 8 iron, or is your 8 iron even more boxy? - I know your 3 and 4 have more of a rounder look that I don't want. Gotta go all box.
LOL.....did you really just type that last line?
Would help even more if you could send me a pic of the toe facing the face of the club. It's easiest to see lines/transitions from that vantage.

To give you a better idea of how much longer toe to heel I'm talking about.. check out this picture of my 2 iron compared to my SB1 3 iron:
The difference is pretty noticeable, and I think it will be pretty cool to see how the rest of the set turns out.

SB-1's aren't gonna be cutting it for much longer...

Look again at the scoring lines, the 2 irons is MUCH longer than the SB1 3 iron.. i'd say half an inch (which is a lot on a blade).
I just got word that my shafts finally came in, so DW can start with the major shaping and grinding them down to their playing weight. My next update should have some really cool pictures

That's interesting. I would have thought the scoring lines are the same length as the SB-1s, but just more toe area to grind off. Pretty cool. It's like I keep finding all these hidden little gems in the various designs of Scratch clubs.
Finalized my order and Patrick said my shafts were ordered a few days back. I wonder if our shafts were in the same shipment?

Not very exact, but you get the idea:
I doubt mine were in the same order as yours. I ordered these a while back and the wedge shafts were on back order from Nippon (last time it was the Iomics that took FOREVER) and slowed the order down. DW will not start grinding/finishing till he has all of the components there at the same time. Patrick says he likes to do everything at the same time, rather than bounce around from set to set so the he can hit your specs dead on with shaft, grip, and requested swing weights.

Go for it! With Tai, Finalist, and myself...you can complete the foursome at the next Byron mixer
Tai, they're looking good! I'm glad Jeff is making my wedges or else they'd never get done. Finalist and yourself are keeping Don quite busy these days.

I ordered a new TD AR 10 iron to rotate into my bag (McCoy) at the end of March, so I'm antisipating its arrive soon, as well... Would have been fun to get photo updates like this... Really does add value to purchase process...
( And Thanks for letting us all live vicariously through your awesome experience).. It really is a lot of fun to see!
