well I mean if you think they are overpriced then no need posting feel free to contact Scratch and see what they would charge for an identical set, but if you get a set of the double muscle backs with those shafts and grips for less Ill take 2!

Thank you for removing the negative comments.

But just to clarify I lowered the putter price but it is a 100% handmade maybe one of the first 3 putters Jeff ever made and Scratch is getting big quick if you hadn't noticed and in that respect I really didn't think the past price was way overpriced imagine if before some of the famous putter makers got big u had one of the first 3 putters they EVER made. Im not trying here to sell it I just want to justify the price, previous and new asking price. Thanks again

What finish is on the irons?  Is that Blue Ox?  They look beyond incredible and good luck with the sale.  The new owner will 100% know that he will be the only one with a set like that!  :good:

So the finish on the double muscle back handmade blades is BLUE OXIDE also according to Ari over at Scratch he stated according to his knowledge those white KBS tours were the first white ones EVER made, the putter is one of the first 5 Jeff ever made while Scratch was still in Oregon, the other 4 were 2 for Ari and 2 for himself so this putter is the first one he ever made for a customer, the finish is antique and was done by Ari by hand.

Also the BLUE OXIDE finish is much sicker than pictures can do justice.

Does everyone know how much you'd pay for a set of double musclebacks made 100% for you? I do because they were going to cost 500 more than my DW AR's.

While the double muscles are amazing... including this set, I kept the extra 500. I guarentee not matter what custom set you get from Scratch, you'll be EXTREMELY happy with them.

All that being said... Good luck!

Well thats true I guess people dont realize these are 100% handmade by Don White theyre not like the ar, or ez, or sb TD donwhites that start at $2500, this is a double muscleback done entirely by hand by DW and its not a head shape they have a blank for these are more than 2 times the DW Tour Department irons, then these have the FIRST ever white KBS tour in production they are actually the prototypes, and the finish is a special finish, thats about the irons, any one questioning how valuable or how rare they are than please feel free to ask Ari about my set, also the putter is a rare part of Scratch History one of the first 5 EVER made and the FIRST for a customer, again if you feel these are overpriced email Ari, ask him about them, Im sure he can fill you in on details about the rarity of the clubs and the 1 iron SB actually took them 5 tries to get the head right and make it properly so the rarity of this 1 iron is up there too, again if you dont believe me email Ari, Ill just warn him he may be getting a bunch of emails loll.

The grips run around $400 for a set 3-PW and the shafts not sure as I just had the irons built and paid a total didnt ask for a breakdown, but the grips I know because I buy those for all my clubs, they can run between $350-$500 for a set of just the leather GM limited edition grips.

Appreciate the info...the gripmaster grips are the best on the market IMO.

Good luck with the sale

These are the nicest irons I have ever seen and sure to increase in value. Anyone questioning prices is out of line. Anything 1 0f 1 by a master craftsman such as DW is priceless. These would be a great investment as well as the putter. The irons are too nice to play with in my opinion. Beautiful clubs. Sorry you have to sell them. Wish I was in a position to make you an offer.

Completely unrelated to the irons...

...there is absolutely nothing that is "sure to increase in value" -- short of a Madoff investment that is.
