So the clubs were apparently shipped Friday.  As of 10 mins ago UPS has not delivered.  The Tracking Information  States: A UPS shipping label has been created. Once the shipment arrives at our facility, the tracking status--including the scheduled delivery date--will be updated.  The club only needed to travel 3 hours total....   Ask seller for help multiple times and got no response.  Looking for advice... got any?

I'm not sure if this is the norm, but I had a club that was from VA to me (MD) via UPS and it took the full 5 business days to get to me.  I think that regardless of distance, if they say it'll take 5-7 business days, they'll try to max it out as much as possible and will even hold it at the facility close to you before delivering it.  I remember several packages that were "held" in a nearby facility near me for 2 days.  I called to see what was the hold up, and all I was told was that they usually try to meet the "estimated" delivery date.  

Hopefully it was just some type of tracking update error and it'll get to you soon.

Strange. Sounds like it's never been scanned in to the system...which if you take at face value, means the package hasn't been dropped off/picked up at a location.

Was this a transaction on here on the BST? Maybe try contacting seller?

Bottom line, 5 days is a LONG time for no update whatsoever...I'd be concerned too!

Usually that info means that the shipper has made the label at home or office but UPS has yet to receive the package. Happens more with actual businesses where they print the labels but may take a few days to actually get the item to the shipper. Although if it was printed last Friday that seems like a long time to wait. Maybe UPS's tracking system is not updating for some reason.

most likely means that the package was never picked up.
i hope i am wrong but i am almost sure.
i would contact the seller/shipper right away.

I have contacted multiple times and he hasn't responded.  It was on here BST.... he told me it was picked up by UPS friday morning......

I dont  want to complain or seem like a jerk.. i just want A) to get what I paid for and B.) be able to hit balls this weekend with the clubs.  I travel all week.. finally get home annnnnnd no clubs bummer

Seems odd that someone would create and pay for shipping then lie about dropping it off? Maybe call UPS and see if they can give you any additional info... maybe even ask the dimensions of the shipment to make sure he didn't just create a phantom shipment then run off with your money.

Hopefully it works out. Maybe he just had something come up and wasn't able to drop it off yet but doesn't want to admit it.

I'd call UPS and have the double check it.  Anything is possible, but I used to ship stuff as part of my job and when we created a label, the tracking number would register on their website just like that before UPS picked it up.

Just got off the phone with UPS... they confirmed they havent picked up the package.  Still no response.  He was on here last night.... come on

Odd, unless someone was pulling a scam and wanted to make it look like he was acting on the sale, without ever shipping the item.  

Creating a shipping label means nothing.  I had an order on a preowned club from budgetgolf a couple of weeks ago where I promptly got an email that a shipping label was created, waited a week with the tracking never showing anything further, and it turned out they were out of stock and couldn't fulfill the order.

Don't jump the gun.  My local PO never scans the packages in as received if I drop them off with a pre-paid label, so the tracking always show that same tracking message, right up to the day they are being delivered.

Some people lead busy lives; traveling out of town on business and such, or family trips (it's Spring Break in many places).  Give it some time...

I personally haven't used the BST, but as a week has passed since it was supposed to have been shipped, I don't think the OP is jumping the gun here.  Also, we're talking UPS here, not USPS, so I've rarely if ever not had accurate tracking with UPS.  If the tracking hasn't been updated, I can only come to the conclusion that the package was never dropped off or picked up.

The PO argument holds no water...the OP is talking about UPS, I have never seen a package shipped UPS not updated unless the package had not actually shipped yet.

I just got a message from someone else who bought something from him.  His package is scheduled to arrive today.  So we will see what happens with that.

I have had items shipped from UPS and it never updated. They just appeared on my door with out tracking ever updating. So see what happens op and wait till Monday. If no package open a paypal claim.

I think you have to wait longer to file a PayPal claim but it looks like that's where you're headed. Might go ahead and try it at this point unless PayPal tells you its too soon.

Entirely possible he did ship it but the tracking info did not make it into the UPS system. But unlikely after this much time. Much more likely he bought the shipping label and never got around to actually sending the package (or arranging pickup or whatever he planned to do). No way of knowing if he wont' communicate so at some point you have to proceed as though he's stiffing you. If the package then shows up, great.

Exactly, what I am going to do.  It's a shame... all it takes is a 5 minute conversation or email and we could settle this...,..

MIght as well post this person's user name based on lack of communication - that normally works to get the ball rolling.

And the majority of people live busy lives these days. There's very few reasons why someone can find the time to A.) actually golf and B.) list stuff for sale and not have the time to respond to a buyer's message. ESPECIALLY when he's been active on here since the messages were sent.

And the majority of people live busy lives these days. There's very few reasons why someone can find the time to A.) actually golf and B.) list stuff for sale and not have the time to respond to a buyer's message. ESPECIALLY when he's been active on here since the messages were sent.
