Jeesus christo, the GG here has ridiculously high prices for all their used gear.  Must be the manager.

Yes, and I did buy them all.   They only have about 50 individual clubs at a time, plus about 10 sets of irons, but they all turn over.  The Golfsmith near by has roughly 100 sets of irons, 100 drivers, 150 fw-hybrids plus 20 wedges. but they hardly turn bc they are super super high.  They even have used g15 drivers for $249, when new is $199.

Amazing...

Good deal on those Eye 2's!

I picked up two sets of Eye 2's also over the past couple of weeks at GG. One was $81 and the other $86 3-PW. Posted Image

Picked up the misses a TM 09 Burner Driver for 29 bucks.  She doesn't need it, but my entertainment dollar exploded in my pocket.

YES,  30 day return for a store credit.  Store can refuse, but I've never had it happen.  After 30 days, only with manager ok...

Just picked up a Vokey SM54 10 for 26 bucks and they bent it to 56 for free. Little grass stain in the grooves of the sweet spot but that just made the condition look worse than it is. Cleaned it up and the thing looks like it has maybe 5 rounds on it. How do people trade in used clubs looking as though they were used as some sort of farming implement? They grade trade in value based on condition to some extent. Further, how does golf galaxy then put those clubs on the sales floor in the same condition? It would have been easy to take a look at the face of this wedge for an example and think it was beat to hell with no grooves left but a slightly closer inspection and a quick scrape with a golf tee (does anyone else always seem to have a golf tee on them, at all times, no matter what you are wearing?) and you see it as it really is. The crazy thing is they had the exact same club in the 60 4  and it was priced at 51 bucks and after i cleaned the SW up just a littlle bit it was clearly in better condition than the 60. OH well, shouldn't complain I got a great deal because 2 people were lazy. I hope some dude takes in a 50 that's caked full of local muni too I guess.

I have seen this same thing in used sections and on ebay.  It only takes a little water and a nylon brush and done.  I dont understand it either.  I know if I go to trade in clubs, I go over them with a fine tooth comb.

exactly. I mean at least get the actual grass off the face if not just dig out the grooves. The bottom, umm 6 grooves of this wedge had enough dirt and grass packed into it to fill a medium size divot. Oh well, good for me then.

Oh yes.  Those dirty beauties make it even more fun.  Tonight I found a really nice 3 w Supersteel with bubble for $1.99 and a Hogan 1 Hybrid TI with a NVS shaft in super shape for $3.99.
