If you haven't changed your grips in a while, just do it!
I forget how much better the clubs perform when you have new grips and a new glove on.:good:

And get the right size. Going from old standard grips to new midsize grips was the best change I ever made. I have big hands and can't imagine playing with regular grips anymore.

Or just wash your grips with some soap and water.  If there's still some life in the grip this will help.

+1000 on all of the above..

i use undersized grips and sometimes have difficulty finding them so i grab any reasonable opportunity whenever it presents itself..

i scrounge ebay a lot and have bought them in lots of 50 and sets of 13 through the years..

i am also some sort of a club ho(i have 40+ wedges....) and always regrip all my new acquisitions ...

i feel insecure if i do not have at least a complete set of spares..

Agreed! Just put together a set of cg7 tours for DIRT CHEAP  and  got new black 2g's today. Should give me something to do tonight! Whenever I get a club off the bst or wherever, I always change the grip before I play it. Don't know why, just doesnt feel like its mine until I do!

Went grip shopping this past weekend. Gotta say I liked the GP MultCompounds and gray Winn Dri-Tacs a lot.  Ended up with a  great eBay deal on 13 MultCompounds so I went that route.  Still thinking of those Dri-Tacs though. Nice feeling grips.  I agree that is an easy equipment upgrade.

Sandpaper your grips before changing them.

+1 for Winn DriTac grips; wiped out my local Golfsmith's stock of their Midsize Lite Wraps over the last few weeks. Loved the old Gofl Pride Tour Wraps, but not the 2Gs that have replaced them, so I've moved on.
