A chart like the Titleist system would have been great and a hell of a lot easier to use.  I just read the book again and the whole o and - thing really bugs me.  They mean different things when adjusting for open or closed.

FYI, I was able to easily cut out the small box section in the center portion of the torque wrench to store the fourth weight. The cover still locks just fine.

your swing sounds like mine i'm thinking the lower lauching shaft is going to be the better idea. I play a 8.5 in my r11 but the shaft has made more of a diffence than the loft on the head. I play a tour ad di 6tx hard to find the tx version but if you can its a killer shaft.

Not sure where your located, but yes retailers should have them, locally here in SO CAL, Roger Dunn Santa Ana has 15-20 in stock for about 10-15 days now

I used wire cutters, dykes, to cut out the large sections on the torque wrench and a utility knife to clean it up a bit.


Played my first round with the Fit TA. Left it in the stock setup and she flies very straight. I would say this driver is as long as my Razr Hawk Tour but seems to just go straight for me. I have the 8.5deg TA in X-stiff and the Razr Hawk Tour 8.5deg with the stock RIP stiff shaft.

One minor point, I do prefer the sound on my old Razr Hawk Tour but the TA sounds good also.

Anybody notice the "sweet spot" logo seems to be slightly off center?

Mine seems to be closer to the heel. Definitely not in line with the callaway "shield" on the bottom of the club.

Got my 6M3 X flex shaft coming in the mail, can't wait!!!  Now, if I can only decide between the razr fit ta 9.5 loft or 8.5 loft.  Does anyone know what Cally's return policy on clubs is.  My driver is still in the plastic wrap, do you think they might exchange just the head to an 8.5 loft if I pay the shipping???

I believe someone asked if I have recieved mine yet. As of yesterday it still hasnt shipped and is becoming annoying. Ordered from Discount Dans. Pretty stupid that I can now go buy in the store anywhere. Only ordered an 8.5 with the stock 6.5 shaft.

Been playing my Standard RF with the X flex RIP that they sent with it for a couple weeks now...4 rounds or so and so far I am happy with the difference between it and my FT tour with the whiteboard 73x.  So just a few thoughts....The sound as many have mentioned is different but not in a bad way.  Certainly not the clank my old FT-3 had but more of a crack sound with a little metal ting.  When I used to play with partners and really mashed on a drive with the FT tour they would always ask me what compression my balls were because it sounded like I was really compressing the ball with that club.  Not so much with the RF.  It seems to bounce off the face as opposed to the squash feeling with the ft tour.  Almost like the ball doesnt stay on the face as long.  Im no expert as to which would be a better thing...but it may have to do with the rubber weld in the FT tour giving that squash feeling more or something.  At any rate I can certainly say my mishits are better with the RF.  The FT tour while still long on mishits feels awful if you dont strike it well...where as the RF does not feel pure on a mishit it certainly seems to handle it a lot better...as is the ballflight.  As far as distance is concerned I think the FT tour may edge it out but it could be the shaft and comfort factor I have with it.  Distance with the FT tour on a perfect drive will be longer than one with the RF in my hands in the current setup as I hit almost a perfect drive the other day on a par 5 at my club with a normal prevailing wind and it ended up a bit short of where I have been with my FT tour....maybe 7-10 yards.  That being said once I get a proper shaft in this thing it could all change.  Overall I am happy with the driver...not Earth shattering but still need some more time to tell.   I have another one coming which is the TA variety but it will have a Whiteboard like my FT tour so maybe then it will be more apples to apples.  BTW I dont really notice a difference in ballflight between an FT tour 8.5 and a RF in the "O" position so I dont think the loft really made that much difference to me.

I brought my SuperDeep out of basement today to compare it to my TA.  The SD was the longest driver I have ever hit until today.  The TA had it by about 10+ yards on the average.  Cally sure hit the nail on the head with this driver and have gotten me back as a customer in the process.

I don't see why not, I ordered mine from my local golf shop, and was able to ADD a AD-DI to it along with the Projext X black.  Hope that answers your question.  I was also told I will get the T/A adapter(fingers crossed)!

Played 27 with the RF yesterday and for fun I hit a few 2nd balls with my FT tour.  At least for me....the RF is remarkably shorter with the setup I have in it.  I hit two shots on both par 5's on the front that were better than average drives with each driver and my RF was a good 10-20 yards shorter than the FT tour.  Yes I know you all are going to say it was the setup and/or the shaft but the bend profiles of the WB and the RIP 60X are pretty similar so if it is a shaft thing...then that is one heck of a better shaft.  In some cases I felt like I absolutely nutted the RF and it was not nearly as long as a Decent FT tour shot.  Both of these drivers are playing at the same length as well.  Same brand of balls, everything the same I am fairly confident in saying the FT tour head is longer than the RF head.  Which makes me wonder why all of the Tour Pros would switch really unless the RF is just that much straighter on mishits without enough loss of distance.  Anyone else coming from an FT tour let me know what your experiences were like with the TA or regular RF....

I am going to take them to the launch monitor at the PGA store this afternoon and will post pics.  So far I am starting to get a little frustrated with the performance of this thing.  BTW at my current club I play to a .5 index.  I have just sunk a couple hundred more into this thing to get a Whiteboard so its truly apples to apples.

All i can say is that i'm, jealous for the guys who got them already. Not so envious on the great score from amazon,  its still an awesome score don't get me wrong. I instead order from TGW since some places where running out of the 9.5 and TGW was expecting to ship by 5/4, guess what, found out today that they won't get them until June 8th and that's not even guaranteed. I so jealous of you guys who already have the TA's in hand, and who have put them into play!!! I already have a shaft at home waiting to be inserted into the head to be played.

You're in the BayArea, there are Golfsmiths here with them in stock as of yesterday.  Grab one and cancel your TGW order.

I'd agree with this assessment regarding loss of distance.  I am coming from a Razr Hawk Tour, and the RF TA is shorter than the RHT.  Not the 10-20 yards you describe, but definitely 5-10.  However it is MUCH straighter.  Played yesterday and hit 10 of 12 fairways on which I hit driver.  That number is usually 6-8.  I'm a little disappointed in the distance, but more fairways = better scores for me.

Check GG if you have them in your area, they have tons of them...
