Yes I took it straight to the course for our league. Very straight and high. I need to take it to range and play with the settings. If I can lower flight without turning it into a fade club, it'll be a keeper. I think it's a good feeling and looking club. So far accurate.
You've got the 8.5 , what are your settings and are you typically a high ball hitter or did you go down in
Loft?

Mine is setup as neutral right now.  I really need to take it to the range to experiment with it a bit.  ItS usually straight to the course for me so I have not messed with it to much yet.  I'm a high ball hitter and the 8.5 has been money so far. I'm glad you are liking your new stick!

I have never picked up a Callaway club, what makes this a Tour authentic driver. Your players drivers are green, what is the differences from the Regular and the tour authentic besides color and more adjustability? I have a playing partner who bought the first TA irons they came out with and he lived them. If its better quality I might take a look. Can I get it with a
GD TOUR AD DI80x ? Is this the best Callaway has to offer? What driver does Phil and that long as hell guy from
Europe have in there bag.  I can't spell is name , Alvaro Quiros I think.  I would love to give Callaway a look since nothing out there is super impresive . Can I easily get my hands on Tour issue/ tour caliber Callaway equipment or are they like Ping and give there customers just as great as stuff as there players ?

I really think Callaways tour model drivers are geared towards players with high spin, I can never seem to launch there drivers consistently, sucks, mine will be on BST soon...BB

It's not my ideal color either but this thing is deep.  Nothing out right now can beat the performance it gives me.

Am I the only one who prefers the feel of the standard razr fit? My TA kind of feels dead to me. It's starting to mess with my head. It feels like I need to put a lot more on it. I still need to play around with it, all of this extra adjustability can be a bit overwhelming. I think the px black is pretty solid though.

My TA plays MUCH different than my RF.  Higher launch with more spin.  Same loft, shaft, and weights.  Odd.

Just by one TA. Yo can then use the two small TA cogs on the standard Razr Fit adaptor. You can only use one shaft at a time, so you can put the two small TA cogs on any standard tip, which are available online.

Does it feel way different to you also?  I don't know what the deal is, but it seems to be a bit shorter than my regular RF.  I played both today, and on the holes that I hit both, I was consistently longer with my regular RF.  Sometimes by 15-20 yards.  Granted, my setups are a bit different.  I was playing a Kai'Li 70x in my 9.5 RF TA for half the round and the PX 6.5 in my 8.5 standard RF.  I switched it up a little after half way, but it didn't seem to matter much.  I pretty much stripped the TA of it's extras and am going to be playing my standard RF with the double cog and lesser weights for a little bit.  I just really wanted to like black head.

Just picked up a Razr Fit TA 9.5*. Hit all the major OEM drivers (Nike, Titleist, Ping, Cobra, Cleveland and more).  My top three with stock stiff shafts were: Razr Fit TA, Cobra ZLE and Titleist 910 D2 with Diamana Blue (made for).  I also hit the regular RF; didn't like the stock shaft - to sloppy/loose feeling

The Razr Fit TA felt the best, offered the tightest dispersion, and was the longest by 5-7 yds at an outside range where I tested.  The regular RF felt the same as well concerning ball/face feel.

I have tested all the settings from closed to open and many weight combinations.

I settled on:   S-, 10gr in heel, 8gr in toe.

I tried this weight combination on a lark and it felt great.  The head feels significantly heavier, Sw is at E.  Seems odd, but I get the sensation of a sledge hammer (no pun intended with Hammer references) hitting the ball.

Result, 245-255 carry, straight or a slight draw (maybe 2-3 yds), mid flight, and I would describe it as mid to low, not mid to high. No ballooning into the wind at all.

My dvr SS 103-105 mph.

To my eye it is almost negligible with the head set to S-.  It looks Sq to me, though when set to square it looks just a fraction open.  Might just be the head I chose.  Either way it works well.

Really very satisfied with the RF TA and I like the green to boot!

Yes, feel is different.  Sound of the TA isn't quite as muted.  I was longer with my FIT until a went with the AD DI to lower spin compared to my Attas T2.  I am very close to having this dialed in, but would like to shave off another 300 rpm or so.  Was thinking maybe a Fubuki K...Or Fuji TS 6.2...

Interesting to hear that people having hit the standard vs. TA versions are reporting different performance and sound.  I thought the heads were identical, but perhaps that is not the case.  I know my standard version feels/sounds a bit different depending on how I have the weights and face angle adjusted, but based upon some posts where that variable is controlled, differences remain.  So, perhaps there is more than meets the eye.

If more "players" attributes are designed into the TA version, then I am not surprised at all if the TA version is not as long as the standard version.  My experience over the years is that GI and SGI driver models are consistenly longer than the Players models.  This makes sense to me, because of the larger sweetspot and other enhancements on the GI and SGI models.  I always viewed Players models as being geared more toward lower ball flight and spin (control), and distance/forgiveness being a secondary focus.  In other words, gaining control of trajectory and lower spin, at the expense of distance.

My RF is all over the place now I just cant seem to get a consistent ball flight with it.  I have tried everything in the book now and I will get an occasional ball that will just die way short of my normal targets...I have the following shafts:  Diamana 73x untipped, Diamana BB 83x untipped, and the RIP Alpha x untipped and none of them really give me the flight and feel I used to get with my ft tour.  I am thinking the different weight in the head may be the issue and is causing my increase in spin with those shafts.  Even the WB seems whippy to me now with the RF head in it as opposed to the FT tour.  Guess I need to get lighter weights or something but this is starting to get frustrating.  I am almost thinking of dumping my whole setup and going back to an FT tour.  Unfortunately my beloved club blew up so I pulled the WB from it and installed a RF tip which is what I am using in my RF now.  Totally different club with the exact same shaft and exact same length!    Next step is the weights and we will see if I can ever get this thing where I want it.  Callaway must tip the shafts or something when they put them in the tips because my WB that I installed in a RF tip is not even the same shaft anymore in that head.

^^  sorry to hear the RF is not working for you.   I love mine but the RF is not going to work for everyone.   As a side note, RF shafts are not tipped by Callaway, so the issue for you is more likely the head design or the higher swing weight, but that is just a wild guess.

I actually like the high swing weight.  I even added quite a bit of lead tape to the sole of my RF and like it even better.  With the super high SW I put the face angle in the "closed" position and heavier weight in the heel and that works for me.  I think I am in the minority though as I don't see many people posting that they play the RF in the closed position.

I take back every bad thing I said about this club. I forced myself to use it the last few outings.  I quickly got used to the feel of this beauty. I was hitting bombs today, working it both ways, and controlling my trajectory. It helps that my swing was on, but this thing is in the bag regardless now.

I went with 8 grams in the heel and 2 in the toe, and set the sleeve to C+ with a Kai' Li 70x. I liked the PX Black, just not as much as the Kai li.

I finally went with a Diamana 'ahina 70X, tipped 0.5" -- far better than the PX 6.5 for me, can take a rip without having that nagging uncertainty about where the clubhead is during my downswing.  8g in toe, 2g in heel works just fine with a square setup, although i may try to open the face a bit and even out the weights to produce a slightly lower ball flight.

Given that driver heads are all the same for center hits, off-center performance, visual aesthetics, and sound are the only things to really sway one's decision.  This is slightly better on mishits, much better looking, and a lot better sounding (to my ear) than the other things I've played or tried, but it's not a miracle worker!

I can't say enough about this Driver. The fit was incredible hitting it in the simulator, I just tried the tour authentic since the guy at golf galaxy mentioned it. I hit the tour authentic and loved it even more.  The dispersion is so much more tight compared to my older superfast burner driver, maybe it's the heavier swing weight and the shaft? I think the stock shaft that is on the tour authentic is the real deal. I have a tendency to hook and i play it (open -) and I can't hook it anymore unless my feet are really closed. Targets are always online and if I try to play fade or draw it's not a huge left to right or right to left difference from the original line. 15 yards the most. I'm carrying 260 plus into the wind, but can't tell cause that's the farthest the range marker goes back. It seems to be going about 280-300 yards with carry and roll.  When hitting it on the trackman at golf galaxy i had about 3 swings that produced 330 yard drives! My average is about 275-285. Try it out!
