Sunday 3/25 first 18 holes of year
Score 96
Front-55
Back-41

Kind of excited, the friday before I had scheduled anappointment with a pga professional to see if my dad's pings with 1* upright lie would fit me.  Compared to my off the rack flat lie i have been playing with.  Saw lot of difference,  hitting on the toe with my set and hitting straight, high and a little draw with a cross wind from my left with the pings.

Hope to get out again to see if the rest of the set works or if I need to make some minor adjustments to these clubs.

Soggy course, 25-30mph wind, sideways non-stop rain, 44 degrees, destroyed "windproof" umbrella = 71 (-1).

Second lowest career round, and factoring the conditions and ball striking by far my best round of golf ever.

6/7 fairways and 8/9 greens on the front. 10 fairways and 13 greens total. 3 straight birdies in one stretch.

It was like the scene from Caddyshack.

Didn't play too well today. Shot an 83. The old man and I got paired with some really bad, really slow players and I just couldn't get into a rhythm. Only had one birdie. Par 5, awful drive behind a tree, didn't have enough clearance for a 3 wood so layed up with a six iron. 110 yds left and stuck a sand wedge to 8 feet. Got poured on for a few holes too. Had fun though.

Shot an 80 with a complete melt down on the back 9. Freakin OB'd 2 tee shots right.

In my defense, it was 47 and breezy. Posted Image

I shot a 75 today, my second lowest round ever. Golf courses are extremely dry right now in north central Florida, so my tee shots were easily going 20 yards farther than normal. Combine that with playing up a set of tees on a new (to me) course and I had a lots of wedges today. This was the first time I've putted on Champion Bermuda greens and I loved them. I negated four birdies with a few sod-laying pitch/chip shots, but I came away feeling pretty good. Next up: planning out a way to squeeze a round in Thursday morning before Amen Corner Live coverage begins at 10:45.

First round under par of the year. 4 birdies and 1 bogey. Didn't do anything special, just didn't make any mistakes other than the one bogey.

So far this year.

78 with 2 lip outs
84
92
88

I just got a groupon for s HUGE discount on a local bowling facility. Might have to look into that.

Oh man, I just realized that if I took up bowling I would likely wind up with the same 4 game average as the scores above!

hmmmmmm :beruo:

WTB: Used fishing boat, good condition.

77 at Maderas GC in San Diego. I switched from my MC irons to RBZ and it was the best move I have ever made. They're long and so easy to hit. Bye ego hello RBZ!

I'm not a good golfer, but I took an unusual amount of penalties today. I didn't look very hard for a few of them. On the last hole I discovered I was gripping my driver far too hard.

This was the closer of the two birdied par 3's, it played 178y. The other one hit closer, but rolled away a little. We had AWFUL fog the first 7 holes. 62 degrees at tee off, 83 when we walked off 18.
