Thought I'd start a thread where everyone can share how their round(s) went.

I'll start. I carded a solid 77 today. Had an awful front, shooting a 42. But my ball striking improved on the back and I was able to record a 35 with two lipped out birdie putts.

So WRXers, what did you shoot today?

Shot a 1 over 72 with 3 boges and 2 birds.  1 over on the front and even on the back.  Used my new MP58's for the second time.

Yesterday I shot 81 with 5 birdies. 37 on the front and 44 on the back. Took back to back 8's on a par 4 and par 5.

Today I shot 82. 40 on the front, 42 on the back.

Hitting it pretty good for how I usually play. Just gotta work on consistency and damage control.

Shot a 75 (+4) yesterday. Well, Friday, actually. Only my 2nd full round since end of November and, more importantly since I started a process of a major swing overhaul. So, as you can all imagine, very pleased!!

That was all with 34 putts too, albeit on greens that have been hollow-tined, so very bumpy!!

Course is still on winter temporary tees, so probably playing maybe 200 yards short.

Swing still very much a work in progress. Hoeever, the key is, my misses were, largely speaking, straight. Seem to have minimised really damaging misses left and right, at least on Friday's evidence.

Here's to hoping its a sign for a bright and positive year, golf-wise.

Great idea for a thread by the way.

Played 45 holes today.

Started the day at 9AM and the fog was so thick you couldn't see 75 yards in front of you, so it made for a tough 18. There was no way you could play without a GPS unit, but you still had to guess at the pin placement.

First 18   78 (+6)
Front -  43   (+7)
Back - 35   (-1)

Second 18  74 (+2)
Front - 37 (+1)
Back - 37 (+1)

Extra 9 - 37 (+1)

I shot an 83. Best of these year. 4 birdies, 2 doubles and a dreaded triple.

my last two rounds were eerily similar.  disastrous front followed by an OK back.

thurs:

43 (+7) 18 putts
37 (+1) 11 putts

today:

43 (+7) 19 putts
36 (E) 11 putts

hopefully tomorrow (today now i suppose) my driver and irons wake up...and hopefully my putter doesn't take a 9 hole nap again.  i don't think i hit more than 5 GIR either round and didn't make a single birdie in either.

79
36-43 with 3 doubles on the back.

Started with an eagle on the par 5 first.  Hit a 2 hybrid from 237 to 15 feet and drained it.  Then proceeded to hit 5 fairways and 4 GIR for the next 17 holes and scrambled my butt off.  Reverted back to some old swing habits and was a very frustrating day for ball striking.

38-39 yesterday with a couple 3 jacks. Hit every fairway on the back nine, one of those wierd rounds where it could have easily been a 70 or 71 had I not made a few just straight up brainfart mental errors. Looking forward to playing the next round, I have a feeling i'll break that par barrier again soon!

Shot a 66 on par 60. Did ok. Missed some 4 and 5 footers for bogie. I'll let it slide tho, the weather went from 80's to 40's in 2 days.

Gonna get out on Monday again but it's going to be like 38 degrees. Sucks.

This morning I shot a +6 77. Eagled number 1 which is a shortish par 5. My putting was streaky, sometimes I had perfect feel and putts were dropping but other holes it was like I hadn't putted in a year. Overall a great round with great weather.

Not today, but Wednesday. I played 18 at a course I'd never been out on before, with what I later found out to be strep throat and a fever. Course rating was 72.3 with a 133 slope.

82, 11 fairways, and 29 putts. Not my best round as a 7.5, but being able to do that under bad health gave me some confidence.

Wednesday I shot a -1 70 (35-35)

Today I shot 36 on the front and horendous start on the back for a 47= 83! Triple bogey on 10 and then a 9(par 5) on 11. The triple on 10 got to me and that is what caused me to try and force something on 11. Instead of trying to layup from a bad lie I tried to get to the green and put it in the junk. Tried to hit out of the junk and wiffed it and then my next attempt put me right in the middle of a bush, had to take an unplayable after that! I did hit some really good shots today, so I am happy about that.!

I can't wait until things dry up around here because my feet are killing me after walking 18 in this mud!!!!!!:shout:

Managed a disappointing and frustrating 84 (41 front/43 back) in windy conditions. Started well and finished well but had a lot of bad shots through the middle. Spraying it everywhere off the tee and hitting a lot of pathetically chunky iron shots. Short game and putting were solid if unspectacular. Had been shooting in the 74 - 78 range for several weeks through Jan., Feb. and early March but like one of the other posters, I have a two week old baby at home and haven't been getting the rest and fitness work that I need. Not an excuse by any means, just an indication that I need to get back to my routines. Thankfully the in-laws have gone back home. They are more of a pain in the a** than a baby any day of the week.

I shot my 2nd 83 for the weekend.  Today was rough, I only hit a few fairways so I was scrambling to even find the green.

+1 today.  3 birdies and 4 bogies.  Great ball striking day, 14 GIR and 12 fairways.  Wish I could bottle the swing I had today.
