Several years back I was at the AT&T Nation hosted by Tiger Woods. So, similar to everybody else that day I was following the one and only Tiger Woods. When He reached the par 3 sixth hole, after Tiger hit his tee shot, one of the Marshall's picked up Tiger's tee he had used and gave it to me. Now, I have been fortunate enough to get many other golf collectibles anywhere from an old 1910 mashie with original hickory shaft to hats signed by the likes of Arnold Palmer. All of these items I have made sure to make some sort of display of it in my room. However, I have never been able to find a way to display my Tiger Woods tee. Any ideas, I want something simple and cheap that could display the tee while keeping it safe. Any Ideas?????

Post us a pic of it...then maybe someone creative can come up with a way.

I have a signed ball from back when he used to still sign balls when he was an amateur.  I put it in a ball cube...then put that in a shadow box under his first Sports Illustrated cover.

Glass case with small hole to put tee in. Put your favorite ball on said tee.

This could work....or you could just stick it behind your ear.

Next time you're out playing, bring a zip-loc bag and save one of your divots.  Take it home, fill a display box with dirt, lay down the divot, and stick the tee in.

Water it every day and you'll have a living display for your tee.  If you feel like getting fancy, you can even prop a Nike ball on top.

A professional could mount and frame it inside a glass type case.

Stupid question...does it have anything on it that would "indicated" it as a TW tee???

It is a plain white tee, relatively small, no markings on it that indicate that it was owned or hit by Tiger. By the way, I definitely like the glass case type ideas. The divot idea is a little out there, but would without a doubt make one of the coolest displays ever. I will post pics later when I get home from work.

Why not something like this? Maybe cut a nice piece of turn to go in the bottom. Could do with or without the ball.. Maybe get a little engraved plate with the date, tournament, hole etc

I like this idea a lot. Do you know if the tee in the case can be removed or not.

Yeah, but it's TIGER's tee! Price is no object for such holy relic.

Personally, I'd get one of those glassed front cases you can use to display golf balls. Drill a little hole in the base of the middle compartment and fit the tee in there, the surround it with golf balls from great courses you've played.

How much is a Tiger tee worth these days? Does it come with COA?

I guess we got off track...what i'm trying to say is if this is such a prized position (it's in a safe) it must be worth something

or he just wants to keep it and have it for some reason...(paranoia) (hoarding)

it all comes down to value in America

maybe one day you want to give it to your son?

dad: son the day has come where you have finally mastered the driver... In 2006 Tiger Woods used this tee and i've been keeping for many years...A marshall at a golf tournament handed it to me and now i'm handing it to you

son: thanks dad...i needed a tee

wondering the same here...how many yards would using one of these add to my drives?
Not wanting to make fun of you OP, but it's only a tee! I dont have any suggestions other than what the others have posted, but I think the divot idea is awesome!
Maybe buy a bit of artificial turf, less effort and much more practical but it would still look awesome. A little tag with the hole, date, location and drive distance (if you can find this information) would make it a pretty cool display IMO.

Yes yes yes I understand it is "just a tee" but it is not "just" a tee. I got it 5  years ago when i was 12, and when i was little Tiger was"The Man" so that day was just the coolest day ever, getting to follow around Tiger and getting to see him in person for the first time. So the tee is a keep sake to remember the day, and it means a lot to me. I am not saying it is worth 100's of dollars, or that i want some epic holy grail for it to be worshiped . I was just wondering if there any cool ideas to prop it up on my dresser or something instead of it lying around in a drawer. Does this make any sense?

I suggest you buy a small picture frame put the tee in it, attach a gold/silver plate with a description.  Hang on the wall or display on your desk.

Schuyler, I understand where you're coming from.  I would just put it in a case like the one 00bolt posted.  It's nice and simple, and you could put a Nike ball on top of it.  I personally wouldn't get too crazy with the tee.  Or maybe frame it in a shadow box with a picture of Tiger.  Something that won't cost too much.

I would probably keep the tee as well.  Just don't mix it up with your other tees! haha

You could buy one of those balls with tigers kids name on it that realtor stole from his old house and put it on there.

I just read the above statement and I still can't believe its not just something stupid I made up to make you guys laugh, freakin ebay.
