Thanks! Practicing everyday from noon to night has helped... a lot! well, not practicing, PLAYING. I find playing to much more beneficial than range time because you have to work out of your mistakes. I'm also trying a new ball (TP3) not completely sold on it yet, but for the price it is a great ball.. i still miss my ProV1's

I switched to TP3's, definitely release more around the greens, but what I like it that I can get aggressive with 7-4 iron and not worry about them releasing.. Definitely a great ball, I've got 2 dozen right now so I'll be playing them for a while.

I just started playing them today.... they felt like a rock at first and i wasn't sure if i would like them.. but i love the long iron spin... i stuck a 4 iron to 3 feet for birdie from 210 out... and it only went two feet after it hit! The spin around the green isn't the best, but the cover is MUCH more durable than ProV1/B330... i can't even see where my wedges are clipping the ball after 9 holes. And any ball i can shoot a 33 with is worth a try   i'll let you now how i like them around the middle of next week when i have played them a bit more.

At the  2 day meet i ended up shooting 91 (Hayward), 92 (Telemark) i had never played either of the courses and i was hitting everything heavy... i had 28 putts with the 91 and 30 putts with the 92..... short game wasn't great and i had a lot of lip outs... should have been low 80s i had a QUAD each day, and three doubles with the 91.. not good. On the upside, out team shot 307 (+1) + 304 (-1) = 611 (even par) tournament record and we beat the 2nd place team by 28 strokes....

86 at the wilderness today... not too bad for the weather cold, and 15 mph winds tournament low was 77...  i had a triple and three doubles... then i went to my home course and shot 73.... (+2) WHY CAN"T I DO THIS IN MEETS?!?!?!?!?  round of my life was with a TM Penta TP3 I LOVE THIS BALL

Big meet at the Quarry at Giants Ridge tomorrow and Saturday, so i cleaned up the clubs and took some new pictures... I am 3woodless at the moment, i found a 904F with a speeder X, but someone got it one hour before me on the BST...

I am in the process of "Ghosting" my 2007 Burner 3 wood.... just to try a white head, and get rid of  those ugly graphics....

3 wood looks good in black, strip the paint in the sole and do black and it would look great.

Has anyone hit a 909D3 with either a Diamana Kai'li or a Motore Speeder VC 6.1? My Local Dunhams has the FT-iz drivers with these shafts for like $120 and i'm wondering if it is a good combo. These are the REAL DEAL shafts.

thanks i'm not gaming the burner anymore, but it is in the back up bag alongside my 909D3 and random demo irons!

Just for Bragging Rights In case you think i'm a spoiled High Schooler that has my parents buy me everything here are the prices I paid for my clubs (with the exception of my irons)

Cleveland Classic 290 - $170 NEW (Lefty friends came in right handed, got it for cost)
904F 15* & 19* - $40 each
J33cb's - $400 new back in 7th grade (Thanks Dad!)
Vokeys - $80 for the pair (PGA show)
Scotty - Priceless (Dad's first one)

So total I paid $730

Just look around guys you CAN find good clubs CHEAP!!!
