I will be around Hebron, OH in a couple weeks and need some local advice on where to tee it up....Let me know your thoughts.

You definitely need to go to Longaberger. #1 public course in Ohio and it's about a half hour away. Eaglesticks is another good one not too far away.

I saw them at the Stark County Golf Show a few weeks ago, I think they actually go a package deal if you play both courses.  I'd check into it.

U will be disappointed with eaglesticks but Longaberger is a must.

Granville Golf Course is 10 miles north of Hebron.  Donald Ross design.

If any Ohioans in NE Ohio want to play with Kymar and Wednesday morning let me know. I think we're gonna be playing Fox Den in Stow so hopefully we can find two more WRX'ers to join us!

Haha whoops, lol. I meant Kymar and I on Wednesday morning. adams603 will be playing the front 9 with us but has to leave before we play the back. If one more person wants to join us to round out the foursome, shoot me a PM! I believe we'll be tee'ing off around 9am.

OP i am not familiar with courses around there but your Dog is awesome. Chihuahua? My sister had one many years ago and he always had that same sorta "I am adorable but I still wanna fight you" look to him too.

I have a pretty good gig going...it's called senior year spring break!

But to answer your question, Wednesday Morning is a pretty good guy. His golf game is starting to come around, lol.

Yes I am up here in Michigan but my cousin lives in Memphis, TN and we wanted to play our annual outing somewhere in between.  We were thinking somewhere around Cincy would be close to a halfway point.  Any thoughts on a couple courses in that general area?  We try to get 54 holes in 2 days.

Shaker Run, Stonelick Hills, and Elks Run are the best in that area. It might get a little pricey playing those three courses, but those three are all in the Top 15 public courses in Ohio.

Weatherwax in Middletown, Ohio has 36 holes of very good golf.  Arthur Hills designed courses, if you like his work.  Kind of out in the country and doesn't get as much play as some of the other courses in Cincy and also prices are generally lower.

You could also play Hueston Woods down the road, which is a state park and they have a lodge where you could stay.

Louisville would actually be more of a halfway point from Detroit to Memphis, though.  Never played in Louisville, but there is a neat course nearby called Sultans Run, which is in Jasper, Indiana.
