As a caterpillar becomes a butterfly, so must you become Derelicte!

derelicte.png

910 D3 9.5 PX 6.5 7B3 - Yeah, Yeah, Yeah. D3 is great, tell me something I don't know. Well how about if I tell you I drove a 395 yard par 4 yesterday? Down wind yes, firm conditions yes, but still a super bombe for the way I've been playing. Aside from that, I feel completely confident that I'm going to hit the ball in the center of the face when I set up. Accurate, long, great feel. I know there are a lot of drivers that can do all that, but hey this is my guy.

G20 15 PX Black 6.5 - OMG, this is like totally awesome. I originally ordered an I20 14 3Wood, but thought I was looking at a beer coaster, so I gave the G20 a shot with different shafts and went with the PX Black 75 gram 6.5. I have never hit fairways that well of the deck, but I am able to get 275 carry easy and have gotten it up to 290. But it is a unique combo that feels great.

I20 20 PX Black 6.5 - At first I really wasn't sure about this one. I was having a little trouble loading the shaft enough and it was falling out of the sky. But I worked on it, hitting 75 balls in a row and rediscovered a few swing keys. Now its an automatic on lay up par fours. Workable, carrying about 260, and really looks great.  PX Black works well.

I20 4-PW X100- 1/2 inch long, White dot. These make me feel like a Slutty Japanese Kobe Beef Farmer: Hoe Lee Cow. I came from AP2s to these bad boys and am amazed. Weird to say but I feel the clubhead a little less... and I like it. I'm more focused on setup and getting the distance exact. I could talk forever about these things too.

Tour S Rustique 50 X100 - 1/2 inch long, White dot. My first Ping wedge ever and could inspire me to try them out for my SW and LW. I seem to be especially accurate with it, probably due to the alignment groove

SM4 Oil Can 56/11 (bent to 55), 60/07 X100 - SW is 1/2 inch long, 1 degree upright, LW is 3/4 inch long to match the SW, one degree upright. These were the last piece to my 2012 puzzle. I can't help but say these are the best wedges I have ever played. Feel is great, I was able to get them exactly like I wanted them and will most likely be in the bag until I wear them out. I tried the Ping Ansers but couldn't handle the wide flat sole and $170 per is ridic.

Scotty Cameron Circa '62 #3 - Original loft/lie 35 inches, regrip it as needed. Right now Black Baby T (sounds like a rapper's name).

BTW - Nike 20XI-X is my new ball as of yesterday.

My normal speed is only about 115-117, but that's with my current setup - 45 inch PX 7B3 6.5 (75 grams). I hit 122 no problemo with the i20 (45.25 inches, PX Black 6.5 60 grams). And keep in mind that was a monitor. I started a work out program that allows me to have better posture and also turn it up a bit when I need to without straining my back, I simply take a weaker grip, stand a little farther away from the ball and try to use my right thigh to smash the Shakira out of the ball.

Nice, my SS is from 113-117 with a 9064 and 73g BB at 44.5" I'm not fully grown so I can't just go after one once I get past 117 it just gets stupid.. I'd like to get a 120 as my smoother average or whatever but I'd have to pack on some serious muscle for that to happen.

Don't pack on muscle, improve power: plyometrics, posture, using your legs.

I used to be 6'2 180 in high school and couldn't afford a driver so I used a 975F X100 off the tee. I was weak as s***, but I learned from watching pros that distance is from the whole body.... Then I forgot about golf and tried to get jacked, really just got fat but you get the point. Now I'm back at 180-185 and have more power today than ever. Have to make sure your strengthening the right areas. Look at Kyle Stanley and DJ.

Yeah I focus on legs alot, I can leg press alot for my size (330?) But, I can only max bench I guess around 160-170.. I don't know really I never try to MAX anything.. I play by something I head Gary Woodland say about legs of steel arms of elastic or something.. I feel it helps keep me in posture and control, and also I dropped some serious bombs at the range today using that method.... I don't think it matters and I don't know how but even my golf coach who worked with a kid in college now and a kid heading to college says I just have crazy power on the course (I was crap at football after I got hurt)... I am about to play a new kind of golf for JD called 3 iron off the tee until I get better.. Driver and trying to bend shots around doglegs like I'm bubba doesn't help.. I've done it before but it always fails under pressure.

Awesome bag my man and even better bobble head, what a spectacular decision it was to get that. lol, why the Tour-s 50* and the other two Vokeys? love the rest of the bag too.

You want both there NewGeneration, I'm 17, 5'11" 255 lbs and without the strength i have (455 squat, 265 bench) (I do those lifts mostly for football, but does great for both)  i'm sure i would not be anywhere close to where i am now, i just also do flexibility stuff at the end of my workout, it all comes together quite well.

Well my purchases went in this order: 910 D3 (already had 910H 17 and 19), I20 4-9 and I loved them so I ordered the PW and thought I was going to be all Ping through LW but I didn't know if I wanted the Tour S or Anser. So I got a Tour S 50 and a Anser 54. I played them for three weeks or so and although I don't have a lot of bad things to say about the anser, I liked my old vokeys better (SM2). So I sold the Anser and tried the SM4s and absolutely love them.

Now I'm in love with the Tour S on all chips and especially like the little bit of forgiveness. The sole on Tour S in pretty narrow, but has 12 degrees of bounce, making it perfect for tight lies when I have green to work with.

I am actually trying to get advice on how to add white paint to the bottom Vokey groove to emulate the Tour S. I may eventually switch to the 56 and 60 for Ping but right now love the vokeys.

I am going to paintfill the bottome groove of the vokeys if I can confirm its legal. I also may get Ping ID8 grips on my driver, SW and LW. I also am ordering metal stamps to add some pizazz to my Vokeys

I got back to the shop and hit them on the launch monitor and the difference was about 20. But then I broke the shaft on the ping. Second time I've done that with the Ping. I think all the difference is coming from the 16 gram difference in the shaft.

love them. They are my favorite shoe for walking that I've had. I miss a little bit of traction on the front right toe, but, they have the breathable mesh and are lightweight. I also have a pair of lunar cushioned running shoes and like those better than anything except the New Balance Minimalist.

I have a pair of Nike Lunar Controls that are due to be delivered on Thursday too.

I got the Lunar Controls today and am very happy with them. Got the color combo they axed for 2012, black saddle with red flywire, off the bay for $80. I like the feeling of the more stable platform and grip vs. the lunar ascends and superlites. Different category shoe, best of Nike comfort and FJ stability. Nice addition.

I also notched my loft down the .75 to D1 setting, I didn't see a difference in ball flight really but had a bit more roll. Maybe a few yards difference.
