Thanks for the offer!

My favorite memory was the first time golfing with my father, brother, and grandpa as a foursome.  My grandpa schooled us all that day.  We walked, because my grandpa didn't like riding carts.
It was memorable because it was my first serious round of golfd.  I played a few times before that, however I was always a baseball player that never took it seriously.  After getting my butt kicked that day, I caught the bug.

I'm in for size 9

My fondest memory will be walking the same fairways and greens as the best golfer in the world at Pebble Beach come April.  I've been an icon wearer since they were released.

thanks!

I enjoy recalling walking my hilly college course with friends, playing with our old persimmon woods, wearing running shoes and toting three Coors Lites stuffed into a tube sock, with stripes on top, of course.

Size 9 should work nicely.

When I made my first eagle from a blind approach shot from the fairway - I walked around the deep rough at the back of the green for five minutes before it occurred to me to look in the hole.

Thank you Footjoy and Golfwrx.

size 12

My favorite memory of walking a course was walking The Standard Club with my grandfather, my dad, and my cousin. It was great bonding with my family. I currently have a pair of Icons and would love another pair! These shoes look sick!

golf course in AZ, my caddie quit and I broke every club in my bag but the 7 iron(caddie broke my driver).  Shot par on the back nine with a 7 iron.  After the round I bet my car against a $1,000 that I could hit my 7 iron further than a tour pro and lost.  Best day ever!

Fondest memory was when I played with ny Dad, and two brothers, a practice round for club championship way back in early 70's. We all were different flights, came out and walked and devised our own strategies to be used. Very memorable now, as my Dad and younger brother both have passed, but that day will live forever.
Thanks Golfwrx, size 9 1/2.

My favorite memory is in 2008 walking the Jubilee Course in St. Andrews, Scotland with my wife, and our playing partners, a local Member of the R and A and his wife.  He was me showing lines because we could not see in the fog 75yrds ahead of us. An unforgettable round.

I remember walking with my dad down the 10th hole at Memorial Park Golf Course when I was probably 5 or 6 years old.  We had finally gotten to the green and my dad said "this sure is a long hole" (its about a 430 yard par 4).  Slightly confused I looked down at the hole and said, "no its not dad I can touch the bottom"  Then we'd walk back to the old shack of a snack bar and get a Pepsi with crushed ice and a 3 Musketeer candy bar.  I still remember the sound my dad's metal cleats made as they crunched along on the concrete.  Funny the things we remember from childhood.

One of my favorite golfing memories was at my high school state tournament this year.  The second day the temperature was in the low 30s, the wind was blowing for a good portion of the time, and it dropped some snow that actually stuck on the green for a couple holes.  I was paired with a couple of buddies from my region, and one of the many highlights of the day was watching my playing partner pour hot chocolate on his hands to keep them warm.

-Size 11.5

Thanks.

When I get new shoes I tend to walk with my head down so I can see each shoe come forward for the next step.

Walking the entire 18 at the 2010 Masters on Saturday before play started.  I wasn't even playing and it was the greatest walk on a course ever.

Dear lord those are gorgeous!!!!
I wish I had a good story or memory to give, most of the time I play
so poorly that there is nothing positive to take away.
So i guess these would give me something to look at because that is
where my eyes are usually facing(head hung low!)
thanks for the contest!

Wow! Amazing giveaway!
I actually just purchased my first pair of footjoys, some Synr-G at my local golf show and love them  I've been wanting to try the icon and now would be a great opportunity to, esp with the coolest looking pair I've seen yet.
My fondest memory walking the course (I only walk by the way, never take a cart) would probably be when I was a little kid and played my first tournament with my dad as the caddy.  Not only did I hit some great shots, we had a lot of fun together during that and other tournaments even though he doesn't golf, we still had a blast.
Hope these are as good if not better than my Synr-G, well, that is if by some incredible miracle I win...;)

These looks amazing.  Size 12 here.  My favorite memory was walking the course and playing a round with my dad just after he healed up from knee surgery.  It was awesome to see him finally unencumbered by his knee issues.
