So I'm pretty excited to be posting this, seeing as I've been wanting to upgrade my club since high school, but have never been able to afford it. I've been working really hard this spring, minus a small health set back this week, and hopefully these new sticks can assist me in my goal of hitting scratch this summer. The everything is new except the putter and 5 wood under the monkey. The putter is a 2005 Taylormade Daytona 1, I am currently possibly looking for an upgrade soon, the 5 wood is a Taylormade 200 steel with an extra stiff steel shaft.

This is my first set of fitted irons, and first set of forged irons, and I'm never going back. I can't believe it took me this long!

gotta love that setup! I don't think you get the true Mizuno feel with plastic on the heads though

It really helps control the spin ;). But obviously I just picked these up and only had a few minutes to test them out, I assure you the plastic will be off tomorrow. MId-Michigan FINALLY has some courses opening up this weekend. I'm super pumped to just go out and walk nine tomorrow or Sunday. Maybe both!

I'd be pumped too if I was you! It's probably going to be another ten days before courses open up around where I am. Have fun with those clubs if you are able to get out!

Nice setup, the MP-53 are a VERY good combination of looks, fell and forgiveness.

Enjoy them :)

Thanks for everyone's reply. I got to go to my local course and pay for my membership, and play a round on Sunday. It was windy, but fantastic. I'm also more out of shape from the winter than I thought. I was exhausted when I got home after walking haha. The irons hit really well. It wasn't super busy so I got to hit 2-3 balls on every hole, so that was nice. Supposed to be nice all this week, hopefully I can find time to play some between work and school.

Update! Still loving these things. Played 4 rounds now. I've shot +1 (73) every single round so far. Starting to finally dial in my distances and couldn't be happier. I can't imagine playing a non forged iron ever again!
