Just in case you missed it...

Attachment AnjN1hPCMAE5Q_S.jpg

Now the only thing thats missing are some hooligans who wanna throw down with the players after a bad shot.
Looks like a rugby team.

Looks like a bunch of clowns. TM really needs to get it together. Its out of control.

They all looked like a NASCAR bowling team to me.  The hats were especially NASCARish!

That's not exactly the crossover audience they want.

The galleries are starting to act more and more like drunken NASCAR fans.

so they took two identical clubs with identical shafts and identical lofts, and on a trackman with an iron byron they got 17 more yards after 50 shots each?  Let me guess, NO.  They took said paid staff tour pro, had him warm up with his own club that has some 100 gram shaft cut down, and then the new retail stock shafted 3 wood with some light flimsy shaft, and wow, I got 17 more yards on the trackman results.  I'm guessing this is closer to reality here.  BTW, when Adams Golf came out with the same thing a wile ago calling it the velocity slot, I guess their marketing needed to be more like TMs so people realized it.  Apparently the subtle nature of tv spots with players saying it's the longest 3 wood they've ever hit fell on deaf ears.

You people should really do 15 seconds of research before you make yourselves look like fools. Here is the fine print on the RBZ page of TM's site.

*Better player claim against Burner 11 fairway, robot testing at 150mph ball speed, total distance

Does this sentence actually makes sense to you? What is it? A Better player claim? Robot testing - even they seem unable to make up their mind. All i saw was their Youtube videos where some guys hitting half swing 3 woods and when they swung the RBZ they had to go straight to the medical tent afterwards getting treatment for a broken hernia - but claiming an "RBZ-factor" of 47.

Bunch of words jumbled together to make a nonsensical sentence?

Symbolism of 17 -
  • Number of the Son of Man, according to Abellio.
  • Represent the action of the evolution on the Cosmos and its tendency to the karmic liberation, 1 + 7 = 8, according to R. Allendy.
  • Symbol of the man participating to both worlds, celestial and terrestrial, according to Prevorst. Henry Blanquart goes in the same way telling that it "represents the junction between the material world and the spiritual world".
  • About this number, saint Augustin declares: "In the number seventeen as in its multiples we find an admirable sacrament".
  • Seventeen restores the harmony after the fights of the existence. It is the image of the initiate who has succeeded his interior marriage.
  • According to Guy Tarade, it is the number of the Holy Spirit.
  • According to the Book of the Balance of Jâbir Ibn Hayyân, alchimist and Sufi, the form (sura) of any thing in the world is 17; the number 17 represents the base of the theory of the Balance and has to be considered as the rule of the balance of each thing.

  • Ominous number for Italians, as the number 13 in Occident. Thus, in Italy, there is no bedroom 17, no 17th floor, etc., this because of the number 17 that in Roman number is written XVII, considered as the anagram and the numerical value of the Latin expression VIXI that means "I lived" therefore by extension "I am dead".

In ancient times, in the region of Urartu, near Mount Ararat, the local deity was offered 17-fold sacrifices. The biblical Flood began on the 17th day of the second month and ended on the 17th day of the seventh month. Greek superstition holds the 17th day of the month to be the best day to cut wood to build a boat. Some followers of Sufism believe that the most sacred name of God has 17 letters. Mathematicians find 17 unusual because a regular 17-sided polygon can be constructed using the Euclidean tools of ruler and compass, a fact discovered by the German mathematician Carl Friedrich Gauss at the age of 19.
           Anyone from Taylormade know?

At 150 mph ballspeed, the RBZ head is 17 yards longer. It has better launch and spin conditions which gains 17 yards. To play Devil's advocate, what they don't say is that perhaps the heads have different shafts, one designed to launch way high and spin a ton in the old head... Who knows? My point was that people should do a bit more research before making outlandish claims that are most likely not true.

People just need to use common sense. Is the RBZ better? Find out for yourself. In the tournament yesterday, Peter Hanson was still using a SF 2.0 3 wood, while wearing the 17 hat. Rose was using an RBZ 3 wood but still using last years R11 driver. Depending on YOU the club may, or may not work better. Why people get bent out of shape on advertising is just odd to me.

17 is the number of goofy costumes that Mark King is going to make TM staff players wear this year. Can you just imagine how excited all the guys were to be in the 'team 17' picture?

Exactly. On the launch monitor, the 3W was longer by about 15yds for me than my older r7 CGB Max both off the deck and teed up. I'll take that distance. Why? Because it works for me. YMMV

oh.. that's a 17 on the hat? I thought it was a "greater"sign.  it looked liked the hat said "1>". Then I though, nah that cant be it. But if Sergio hit a couple more into the drink, He would had carded a 17 on the 3rd.
